The quality runs high with this rug, but you will definitely need a pad that will hold it in place. Otherwise it will slide like crazy. Out of the package the rug has folds/wrinkles but they go away in a matter of hours -- all except the four corners that insist on curling upward. I used some triangle-shaped grippers on the corners and it was immediately successful in keeping the corners flat. Result? Perfection. The quality runs high and the color is so beautiful and calming I ordered two more rugs just like it: one for my bedroom and the other for my dining room. I bought the 5'x7' size because that's a size I can handle at my advanced age with my weak muscles. Anything bigger would have been too much of a challenge. Update: The second of the three rugs I've ordered arrived and I was surprised to see there's a color (or intensity of color) difference between the two rugs. I'm posting a photo that shows how one room opens onto the other and you can see what i'm talking about. I don't mind it, but your mileage may differ. Also the second rug was not as easy lay flat. The corners need the grippers. I don't they ever would lose the upward curl without them. Update #2: Forget what I said about the color being wrong. It isn't. I discovered that the depth of color changes, depending on which end of the rug you're walking forward on. And the colors change throughout the day as sunlight comes into the rooms.

Really love these rugs! I’ve ordered a number of them in a few different styles and shapes, make sure to check the different dimensions as they can vary wildly in price and I was very pleased to find certain sizes like this one were on sale and very reasonable prices. Fits beautifully at the end of a king bed and seems to do quite well with pet hair from my two short haired dogs and with a few stains and spills I’ve had on them. The pattern tends to block some things being seen and if it were a really large or dark spill I have a feeling if it were attended to quickly it would be able to be removed,, but can’t guarantee as I have not upturned more than a cup of herbal tea on one yet,..was easy to wipe up. I’ve been fairly easy to clean/vacuum otherwise but you do need a rug pad underneath as they will slip and slide on hard surface flooring without one. Does not have a sticky back already. Otherwise good value for the money, nice style that would complement all different ages and stages of room decor, from a children’s room to a seniors space, this light and airy pattern will brighten up your area!

I was looking for a teal/aqua area rug more on the green side than blue side (if that makes sense). While this rug is listed as aqua/ivory, I would say it is way more of a darker baby blue with gray and white. It is still a beautiful rug and fits the area I need nicely. I have dark gray furniture, so I wanted to have other pops of color throughout the room. The design is really great and not too flashy. It's pretty soft, not as soft as a longer shag would be, but exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this rug overall to add some color to the room. The price was fantastic as well compared to everything else I saw.

The color and design are exactly as pictured. It's as soft as a thin-pile area rug can be, and is comfortable to step on. The rug appears to be Safavieh's usual high quality, even though it was very inexpensive. And it came rolled, and straightened out very quickly without creases. Best of all, no terrible chemical smell like other rugs I've gotten online! No odor at all--I didn't have to air it out. I'm very happy with this rug!

Love it! I was cautiously optimistic in ordering this carpet. I have seen Safavieh rugs and not always the best quality. Well I was proven wrong by this Rug (at least thus far 1 week I have it) It is of great quality and is beautiful! I love it and the price was the best I have ever seen. I was shopping all over the internet and AMAZON has the best cost. The rug is luxurious and beautiful colors and goes with my room. I can't say enough, didn't smell, rolled out easy a little bit of bumps but assumingly will go away with wear. LOVE IT!!! go get one you will not be disappointed. You will be impressed and so will your visitors!

This is a nice and well made rug, price is reasonable for the size and quality. Looks amazing, however it has a strong chemical odor, something like gas/kerosene smell. I bought it for my baby nursery, he is 3 months old and we can't use the room now since the smell is very strong. I opened doors and windows for 4 days and smell still strong!! Just bought baking soda and sprinkled all over the rug, lets see how it goes. All in all its not justified to have such smell in a rug, I bought other rugs(other brands) and they don't have any odor from day1!! I bought this one since some reviewers stated that it has no smell!!
