This rug is HEAVY appears to be well made. Beautiful and soft. It did not have a strange smell. It doesn’t shed I do not know about how well it cleans up yet. The only thing I was disappointed in is they shipped it folded up instead of in just a roll and It caused some HEAVY creases, I am hoping that having it laid out flat that it will relax over the next week. We got this to go under a new kitchen table. The pattern has a little more gray than I expected, but it also has browns which is more what I wanted. The mix of both is good. It doesn’t have any exact pattern, so I feel like this will be a good rug for under the table, in case we have some spills that we can’t get out. It’s soft, but not too plush, Which is fine for where we are using it. The price was my favorite part. Very pretty carpet & good quality. As reviewers have said carpet came with creases & corners turned up but I was able to get out by using a water spray bottle and lightly spraying corners and then putting something heavy to weigh down (I used weights) overnight. I like the color and it seems durable. Definitely easy to vacuum which is a huge plus. However despite the fact that it's been several weeks, the corners and edges of this rug will not lay flat. When it arrived, I let it lay flat immediately. After about a week I placed a few heavy items down on the corners, periodically checking them.
