I took a chance on the Red. The color is much more subdued than the listing images but we like it. It's a very soft and workable color. I would describe it as a vintage reddish pink color. When I first saw this rug I loved it because the darker color was exactly what I wanted. Upon receiving it, I can say both colors complement each other perfectly! It is sturdy, thick and well made. It would have been five stars except that I suspect it had been returned; it had lint and dents from furniture. I really love the carpet and we kept it and it wasn’t overly expensive but they should have notified it was returned and not brand new and fresh.

The color is just what I was looking for. Rug is very soft to walk on barefoot. It is extremely heavy duty, will need an extra set of hands to lay down. It came folded and has a few wrinkles, hoping that smooths over in the next few days. Will update if anything changes, so far so good!

    • Poor quality and inaccurate color

I was very hopeful for this rug - in the photos it looks like a nice, classy, almost olive toned green. However in person it is actually more of an outright, bright meadow green color - which I guess is fine if that’s what you’re going for, but I was looking for something more refined. It also came with several parts of the tufting separated so you can see white underneath it. We decided to try it out anyway to see if we could make it work with the other things in the room - big mistake. In the short time that we’ve used it, more tufting has separated and some of it has even come out of the rug entirely. It already looks cheap and torn up despite its short use time and high price tag. While it is on the thicker end (which is its only positive in my opinion) it’s very scratchy and not at all soft. For a rug this expensive I was disappointed in how inaccurate the color was and deeply unimpressed with the quality. Unfortunately because we decided to see if we could make it work, we’re now out $300+ and stuck with an ugly, cheap looking rug - so hopefully this review saves you from making the same mistake!! ... show more

It fits so nice in our family room and it is the perfect size 8 x 10 so you can still see the beautiful wood floor around it. Love the blue color. It is simple and really nice. It was not super expensive, but it’s wool so it was more than a synthetic rug. Love it!

Lovely rug - well made, color, etc., just as listed - very pleased. However, be aware that this rug is not delivered by Amazon - instead by FedEx Home. The delivery person left this 55-pound rug at a 80-year-old neighbor's front door - 6 street addresses away and a floor below my unit. Called Amazon right away to ask that someone come to deliver the rug to the correct address (I sure as heck couldn't lift it) - the person I talked w/was useless. Sent a complaint to the actual store - they said how sorry they were - 3 days later. ... show more
