It fits so nice in our family room and it is the perfect size 8 x 10 so you can still see the beautiful wood floor around it. Love the blue color. It is simple and really nice. It was not super expensive, but it’s wool so it was more than a synthetic rug. Love it!

    • Poor quality and inaccurate color
I was very hopeful for this rug - in the photos it looks like a nice, classy, almost olive toned green. However in person it is actually more of an outright, bright meadow green color - which I guess is fine if that’s what you’re going for, but I was looking for something more refined. It also came with several parts of the tufting separated so you can see white underneath it. We decided to try it out anyway to see if we could make it work with the other things in the room - big mistake. In the short time that we’ve used it, more tufting has separated and some of it has even come out of the rug entirely. It already looks cheap and torn up despite its short use time and high price tag. While it is on the thicker end (which is its only positive in my opinion) it’s very scratchy and not at all soft. For a rug this expensive I was disappointed in how inaccurate the color was and deeply unimpressed with the quality. Unfortunately because we decided to see if we could make it work, we’re now out $300+ and stuck with an ugly, cheap looking rug - so hopefully this review saves you from making the same mistake!! ... show more

Safavieh sells quality rugs at truly good prices. This rug is a high low texture. Dark blue and light blue. It’s thick and nice to walk on. It’s perfect and I highly reccomend.
