This rug was so easy to lay down and looks amazing with my outdoor living room! Customers need to know, that the ends do curl up, and it's not completely flat when you first lay it down. But the instructions said it would over time. My quick solution, only because I didn't want anyone to trip on the edges and fly off my deck, was to staple gun it down on the edges. I then sprayed the wonky parts that weren't flat with water...when it dried, it tightened and flattened out more quickly! It is so easy to hose down and it dries fast on a sunny day. It withheld the rainy Northern California storms like nothing happened. I highly say YES, to this rug, and I can imagine it looking nice inside a home as well, with a room where there is alot of wear and tear, like a kids playroom, under a dining table, a mudroom, pool house or even a guest house! ... show more

This rug is beautiful for our screened in patio. Its got a subtle black and taupe checked pattern that worked perfectly with our new lounge chairs. Its nice underfoot and dries quickly if it gets damp. However, its packaged terribly....which is unusual for this brand. I've bought a lot of styles from them before. First, they put a high adhesive sticker on the front of the carpet. To get it off took multiple scrubs with dish soap and a lot of rinsing. The other weird thing is that they glued down both sides of the bound edge of the carpet. If you look at the one picture, you can see how the black bound edge doesn't continue around the carpet. That's because the sides are folded and hot glued down. So if you pull the glued side apart...which takes some strong fingers and a wasted 30 minutes of time...there is a really pretty taupe and black patterned bound edge. I have no idea why they glued it down because if you don't unglue it, the edge of your carpet will wear badly since its not bound on the sides. I'm assuming they did it because it adds about 2-3 inches of width and it was accidently produced over the advertised size?!? Not sure...however, once you get it undone...this carpet is beautiful and actually very high quality and well made. So if you don't mind a little inconvenience, this is a really nice buy and I'm still glad I bought it. ... show more

this has held up under heavy rain without mildewing and is easy to shake clean. The weave doesn't wear too easily either. It does get quite hot in the sunlight, so beware if you're barefoot or using it as part of a kid-friendly setup.
