I really like the safavieh brand and this runner does not disappoint. What I love: 1. the length was perfect for a long hall 2. Colors and pattern were true to picture 3. Low nap makes it easy to clean. What I wasn't crazy about: I didn't open the rug until yesterday because I was doing work in my hall. It's been wrapped tightly for awhile and the inside was so curved, it wouldn't lay flat. I reverse rolled it and set it aside. It looks to be relaxing and think it will be okay. Over the past 3.5 years I’ve purchased this rug twice in two different sizes. While it is a thin, compact rug it works wonders in high traffic areas of your home- it’s pet hair friendly, doesn’t fray, and it’s very comfortable to walk on. The color is as described, and after a year of wear on my current rug I still find that the ivory sections are holding up well. I have a rather tenacious golden retriever that spares no expense when it comes to meddling with the rug, but despite his digging, pulling and occasional chewing it’s still going strong. Maybe because it’s a low pile or thickness, but it feels like walking on needles at times. I kept thinking must be something in there and it just needed vacuuming, but we found that there are these sharp metal spikes that stick up throughout the rug. Almost like upside down tacs. Maybe from the manufacturing process? If you don’t wear shoes in the house, may be a no go. Painful when you step on one. ... show more
