This was my fifth SAFAVIEH rug purchase in six years. I only buy 100% wool because they will look beautiful for decades, not to mention they are great for our environment. They have many colors and pattern choices. I've had so many compliments on my rugs and runners. They are thick and very soft, and the sizes are exact, making it easy to pick the right fit. This rug is so gorgeous. The uniqueness in pattern and colors is what attracted me. Not knowing if the colors would work, I ordered the green in the 2 x 3. Loved it ! Hubby saw blue in photos and said he liked it better. Wasn't sure it would work. Actually, the blue attracted me first, but I truly didn't think it was going to work in our LR, DR, and hall. THEN, all of a sudden, it was out of stock and Amazon not sure if would be back in. I kept looking for rugs, couldn't find any that looked durable enough for our "traffic" or pretty enough for me. Now, almost a month since the green was delivered ( I put it at the front door----great rug for that, nice and thick and seemingly very durable). Since I had the green small one, of course, I kept looking for the rug to come back in stock. Finally! I could only order the runner as a test for color, which I could use elsewhere anyway, and it just stands out so much, I am on my way to purchase one for the LR and DR. Here's praying they are in stock. If this specific rug does not stand the test of time and traffic, etc etc, then I don't think you will find one (affordable) that will. Yes, my sister's has lasted for almost 20 years, but having paid just under $4000. for it, I would say changing it out for another would not be feasible. I love that we can buy such pretty and nice rugs for such great prices here. I am changing my Safavieh grey and white shag rugs for this new look. The ones I'm replacing I have been very happy with, but I have dark wood floors, they cover most of the floor making it hard to keep dust bunnies from the shag from appearing too often. We've had the 4 years, but I do not feel like I am being wasteful, as someone else will want them, but the big reason is the very very fair price paid. PLUS, with PRIME, I have no shipping fees. I ordered this product in 3x5 to make sure that it would work in my kitchen. Perfect! Just ordered in 8 x6 for under the kitchen table. There is so much depth of color to this rug. My floor base is cream travertine and the green,burgundy, yellow and cream are a perfect compliment. Lovely mix of both feminine and masculine aesthetic. I haven't vacuumed yet, but seriously. Anyone who has ever had a will rug knows that there will be fibers for the first, many vacuums. Its going to happen! Don't use the beater brush to avoid snags. ... show more

I love this rug. I deliberately and finally agreed with myself that it was the one to buy. I did and I am very, very happy with it. Bold colors, bright but drab colors, thick and impressive. I will say, maybe it was not the best rug for a dining room bc it is so thick. Moving dining chairs must be a very deliberate thing. There's no pushing back from MY table! Still waiting for the vendor to respond as to why the rug is fraying and unraveling and (after only having it for a few weeks. also has brown thread and bright green thread running through pattern. Pretty rug, I also got it in a 2x3 which is fine and has no problems, but the 8x10 is definitely flawed and Safavieh told me I needed to inquire with seller and this seller can’t be bothered to even respond! ... show more
