Comfortable rug with a beautiful, neutral pattern. We paired it with a 1/4" felt rug pad with rubber backing and it is very soft and comfortable. You definitely need a rug pad. Of course it sheds a lot in the beginning as it is wool. I sent the robot vacuum in once or twice a day for the first week and it stopped shedding by then. I've been buying wool Savafieh rugs for years and have them all over the house. They are affordable and really look beautiful.. This was actually a replacement for one in the same space that we had for over a decade and only replaced due to staining (our fault). ... show more

I ordered two of these rugs. One was ok, however the other was terribly soiled and smelled horrible. I lost money on these because I was unable to return due to not being in the US. It is a beautiful rug. If you don't look too closely it looks fine. However, if you look closely you see lots of flaws. We purchased a 10 x 14 foot rug and it does make our room look larger. We have a 2 year old dog and I probably wouldn't pick this rug again because it already is showing places where it is snagging. I hope it holds up for a few years. It is in our living room.
