Amazing and beautiful rug. It is so soft and thick and cushy. It is exactly what I wanted for our living room and looks fantastic. The only issue is trying to vacuum it….it is so thick it is kind of hard to move the sweeper over it. Lol. But that’s ok. I ordered this area rug as the reviews were very good and it was what I was looking for. Even so, it exceeds my expectations! I purchased a rug pad for added cushioning in the bedroom. The rug itself has a comfortable thickness and the shag fibers are nice and dense. It rolled out nicely with minimal creases. The new rug odor is almost gone after 2 days. The cream and taupe color is classy. I was going to get a similar colored but much more costly rug from Pottery Barn until I spotted this and I am so happy! It looks higher end in my opinion. **EDITED ADDED BELOW REGARDING GRIME ON IT** Finally a thick soft rug! I’ve had terrible rugs, that I’ve literally thrown out due to chemicals all over it that came off on our feet and clothes. Also, never as thick as advertised. But very happy with this soft and thickness. It’s not cream and beige at all. This is gray and cream. I will tolerate it due to the soft and thickness though. He had it about an hour - very heavy which is good, rolled out fine, but I’m now feeling some grime on my feet this itchy, and above all, I will not tolerate that. So i will give it to tomorrow to see if it’s just from delivery. Nothing should be coming off the rug onto feet or clothes. Ever. Lastly, the delivery dude should never work in service ever. He actually stood there and watched me struggling to pick up this rug and get it into the elevator in my New York City building and never even flinched to try to help me. Kept his eyes pinned tight to make no eye contact with me staring at him when i said it was heavy. As of now it’s a good rug. I will update this in a few days regarding the chemical on my feet. UPDATE 10/24/24: there is def something on this rug. its grimy and im disappointed since it took me so long to get a rug and no way im rolling up to return it. vacuuming has not changed it. even through socks i can feel it on my feet. its not black like other rugs, but something is on this rug. i really like the soft and thickes and even the color being wrong so its super disappointing to not be able to just walk on a new rug with out stuff coming off on your feet, itch my ankles or unable to sit on it and not worry about clothes or your hands. honestly its just unacceptable. IF anyone knows what to do about this please reply. thanks. ... show more
