Really beautiful runner. It sheds a bit which is annoying, but it’s nice and durable with a soft texture and high pile. Because of the backing, it lays flat well. It does slip so I added a rug grip underneath and it works well.

This is a beautiful rug. It arrived rolled and well packaged. It flattened out quickly. We got the 14’ runner for a long hallway. The tag says this is pure wool. It feels softer than I’d expect for wool, which is great. The pile is pretty short, but we do need to trim one door to fit over it. I expected this before ordering- even the flat washable ones were in the way of the door. The abstract pattern is visible yet subtle enough that it sort of blends in when you’re not looking directly at it. The colors are perfect for what we were looking for and go well with our natural oak floors and pine trim. The orange appears orange, rust, terracotta, or brown depending on the lighting. I included some photos in different lighting to try to show that. We have ours in an internal hall that doesn’t get much natural light. There are specks of a pretty green/gray color, and off white, mixed in with the orange. The rug seems very high quality. I hope it will hold up in this high traffic area, especially with a large messy dog in the house. The dog likes it too and has been napping there since we laid it down. ... show more

I needed an 8ft Square Rug. This is advertised as one. Excited to open & laid out. It looked small. Measured it at 7ft 7 inches! FIVE inches short on both side. That’s 20 square inch of non-existent covered area. This should be priced accordingly. Too much trouble to return. But to be fair, quality is great. It feels soft and thick on your feet. You should vacuum it well on first use because it’s wool and it sheds. After the initial vacuuming, found no more shedding. Overall look is classic & expensive. This carpet looks like it will last. Let me start by saying that I purchased this rug in the ivory/blue color in 3 sizes all at the same time; a 5x7, 2’3x4, and a 2x14 (I wanted the 6x9 but it hasn’t been in stock). The 5x7 and 2’3x4 laid flat immediately and stay in place relatively well after placing some rug tape on the bottom of the rug. The pattern is consistent throughout the rug, the colors are subtle but beautiful, and the pile is just right in terms of how it feels underfoot, allows doors to pass over it, and doesn’t create a tripping hazard. The 2x14 however is not quite as nice in terms of quality as the other 2 rugs I purchased. The colors are the same in terms of matching the other 2 rugs, however the saturation of the colors varies much more and almost looks bleached in some spots. The pattern is not as consistent and the edges are not straight, so the rug looks crooked going down my hallway. Another annoyance is that I cannot get this runner to lay flat for the life of me! One more thing to note is that these are wool rugs, and THEY SHED, however they are supposed to as that is what wool does. It’s annoying, but it’s par for the course when ordering a wool rug. Overall, I love safaveih rugs, including the other 2 sizes of this pattern that I ordered, however based on the runner I received I would have to say that I don’t recommend ordering the 2x14. . ... show more

Better than I would’ve expected! It’s low pile but thick and the pattern is modern and neutral at the same time. Vacuumed easily too. Definitely would recommend.

This is a pretty rug and I was impressed by how thick and nice it feels when we opened it but holy cow it sheds like crazy. We have dark floors and we are weeks into having the rug and vacuuming over it multiple times a day and the rug fibers are still shedding so badly that our floors look disgusting. I’m really hoping it slows down soon but kind of regretting the purchase ... show more
