Beautiful rug. The quality is very nice however the rug is very thin. Design is beautiful and looks exactly as pictured online. The rug does have a chemical smell that's lasted for over a week and I waited for a month after delivery to open the package. The rug came rolled and not folded and there are still some bumbs in it with some curling on the ends it's a tripping hazard at this point but I'm hoping it will eventually lay flat. It's foldable. It's comfortable to walk on soft but not slippery. Overall it's a very pretty rug, quality seems good time will tell but I do think I paid too much for this rug. I previously purchased a larger version of the same rug but be warned the colors between the the larger rug and the rug runner are vastly different! Same exact pattern but clearly a different dye lot. ... show more

First time buying this rug. I ordered ivory and slate. It is very faded on one half of the rug. Just wondering if every rug is like this. I purchased this rug and two others to match about a year ago. They’re still holding up beautifully in our busy household of 6 humans, 4 dogs and 2 cats. We’ve vacuumed them daily, spot cleaned them with laundry detergent and a damp cloth as needed, and had them professionally steam cleaned once and they’ve survived it all. When they first arrived and we unrolled them it took a week or two for the edges to lay flat, which was a little annoying. We did use double sided rug tape to hold them in place for a while, but that’s a thing of the past now. When we had them steam cleaned the edges curled up a bit again, but the tech assured us that was normal and they did lay back down within the week. Oddly, that only happened with the round one in the breakfast area. The rug shown in our kitchen does tend to slide out of position, and even with a non slip rug pad or rug tape we never found a perfect solution. That might just be the amount of traffic in our busy household. I’ve learned to live with it. In our breakfast room and dining room, where there is furniture on top of the rugs, there is no issue. The rugs are soft underfoot. They are low pile, so they clean easily and dry quickly if you do have to spot cleaned once. They’re lightweight so they’re relatively easy to roll up and move out of the way for cleaning g and to re-install when you want to put them back. Great rugs for the price.
