I saw this rug was on sale, it was quite a bargain. Saw other reviews saying it was short a few inches but seeing as how I got it so discounted, I didn’t mind if I got shorted or not. I in fact did get shorted - about 3 inches short of 8ft, but the 10ft side is fine. No problem with me - you get what you pay for! Otherwise, it seems durable, feels soft, and color is what I was expecting. Seems to be flattening itself out pretty quickly. I’ve had it unpackaged for all of 3 hours and the most curled side is already pretty flat. Overall happy with the purchase, just very slightly disappointed in the loss of the extra couple inches in length. ... show more

My husband and I recently renovated our home and have a sage green theme going on and I was looking for a large area rug and so glad I found this! I don’t have any issues with slipping because our sectional lays on top of the rug. It is on the thinner side so if you are looking for a thick rug, this is not for you but we wanted a light thin rug so this is perfect! It comes folded, but the creases will disappear after a few days. When I received the rug, I laid it out flat for a few days before placing our furniture on it and the creases disappeared. It’s easy to vacuum and looks absolutely gorgeous! This is definitely a great purchase and I will absolutely purchase this item again. I also like that they have so many different colors and sizes to choose from- variety is important! I can’t comment on how well it cleans up because I haven’t spilled anything on it (luckily) but with the great price, even if it didn’t clean well we would just replace the rug. ... show more

It’s lain in our LR for seven months and we’re still happy with it. The wrinkles from shipping eased out over time. The pile is low, but dense enough to not show wear patterns. This rug looks more blue than gray. This is a terrible rug. It was never able to completely lay flat after having it for over six months. I've tried using rug tape and putting heavy objects on it..to no avail. I will have to replace it because it is a tripping hazard and is dangerous..

This is the third Safavieh rug we've returned. Three strikes, and you're out. It was advertised as 8 feet square. It was actually 2.5 inches shorter than 8 feet in one direction and 4.5 inches shorter in the other direction. It also didn't look like it was described or pictured in the ad. It was supposed to be beige and slate, and the slate looked very muted in the pictures. The slate looked more like blue and was much brighter and more noticeable in the rug we got. Lastly, I don't understand why this company doesn't roll their rugs around a tube. It was rolled by first folding one edge tightly and then rolling it around that folded edge, resulting in many creases that may or may not eventually lay flat, almost as if it had been folded many times rather than rolled. I'm giving it a generous three stars since it did seem to be fairly good quality, and after we had reverse-rolled it and let it sit overnight, it seemed like it might lay flat eventually. ... show more

I have to admit that I was skeptical about getting this rug because of the mixed reviews, but I decided to take the chance because it was exactly what I wanted. It arrived tightly wrapped. I ordered the 10x10. The color is very calm and pleasant to look at. The feel of the rug is soft and not a rough synthetic feel. You do need a cushion under padding, it makes all the difference. I find that it's in between a traditional carpet and area rug. Not thick but not thin, as I said in between. The size was true, I wasn't shorted on that. No loose tread or fibers. Yes it has some creases from it being folded and rolled up but it will flatten out which it has started to already. Anyhow I love it. ... show more
