Nice little scatter rug. Good value for money. The backing isn't that super scratchy stuff, but it's also not rubberized either. It feels like quality. The rug isn't overly thick either. I bought a few of these for my senior dogs to have non-slippery "safe zones" on our hardwood floors.

I CANNOT believe the quality (and beauty) of this rug for this amazing price. I was looking for an 8x10 to replace a rug that had gotten very dirty. The other rug was a high pile (And mostly white). I see now was not a good choice (in NYC where the dust on hardwood floors means dirty feet, ugh!). I looked at many rugs on here and other websites, before choosing this one. The other reviews helped me in my decision. I did buy a pad for under the rug and I am glad I did. I prefer not to feel the hardwood under my feet. I have already spilled diet coke on this rug and it came up easily and quickly. I used carpet cleaner and cleaned immediately. I struggled with rug shopping so I hope this helps someone else. This rug is beautiful, low pile but not flimsy. I have this in my kitchen and another from Safavieh by my front door with the same coloring. It is a true (although lighting can alter the color) ivory and silvery grey with an ever so slight blue hue to give it the antiqued look. I have 4 Safavieh rugs in my house now and have yet to be disapponted I don't feel like they sacrifice quality for price. ... show more

Ordered this for my newly painted laundry room. The wall color is Glidden Greyrock Inn and the trim is SW basic white for reference. I was concerned it would pull too yellow or too purple but in my room neither of those things happened. It is a true gray and the ivory just looks like an off white. It was perfect for my needs. I've posted three pictures so you can see how it looks against the gray walls, white trim, and the floor tile that has a lot of warm colors in it. It was quite wrinkled but I put it under another rug, put books on both, and it flattened out overnight. Really pleased with this and with the price point (you can find this rug elsewhere online for about double the price). You will need a rug pad underneath for wood or tile floors. I used two large scraps of one of those rug pads that is woolly on one side and rubberized on the other. So far, it's holding well. Also, I have the silver and black in an 8x10 in our foyer (ordered elsewhere about two years ago) and it has held up really well. I do have a good, thick pad under it (woolly with rubber backing) and it feels just fine to walk on. The shorter fibers work well in a high traffic area like a foyer, in my case anyway, and it has held up well to vacuuming. ... show more

UPDATE: My original review was for the 4' diameter round rug. I also just bought the 2'6" x 6' rug for my counter area. I love them both! They're very soft to the touch, and both flattened out almost immediately. You just can't beat the price to add a little personality to a room. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying a huge rug for my living room once I remodel it. I'm very happy. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This rug is perfect for my kitchen, and it has been cat tested and approved 😄. It's thin, which I wanted, soft on the feet, and it flattened pretty quickly. I love the print, and it looks nice against my dark wood flooring.
