    • The keepers work fine once you get them snapped
The keepers work fine once you get them snapped. Where my duty belt doubles up by the buckle, the keepers are super tight to get snapped. I usually have to stretch one or two of them a bit to get them snapped. I wish they were about 1/4 inch longer. Good overall quality though.

These fit well on my duty belt and hold the belt well with all the weight of duty gear. They look sharp and are made of quality leather. The snaps work well and hold tight even when moving around and don't "pop" off. Highly recommend for duty use!

Great looking belt keepers. High Quality. Equipment I used with, FBOP, Border Patrol, NYC PD. No complaints so far. Great product. Quality seems to be holding up to its expectations. Obviously they won't hold out indefinitely, but seems like they will hold up for some years to come.

First of all, I love Safariland Products. I have used Safariland products for decades. The duty belt I now wear is Safariland (a Border Patrol belt), which I purchased with my own money. I also own several other Safariland products. They make good, quality products. They are a huge brand name in the public safety field for a reason. So, why have I given this Safariland product three stars? Maybe it’s because I’m old-fashioned. (Sorry, my animal-loving friends) With belt keepers, there’s no real substitute for leather. I ordered these by mistake. I thought they were leather, but they were not, so I immediately returned them. And the biggest problem with belt keepers that are not leather is the durability of the item. Let’s face it, from a layman’s perspective, these belt keepers are more or less plastic. Okay, SafariLaminate, whatever that is. It’s still a problem. Allow me to provide an anecdotal example. One time I was walking through the parking lot at work and found a flex cuff lying on the ground with a portion of a plastic keeper nearby. Apparently, the officer was carrying a flex cuff under a “plastic” belt keeper, and the keeper just snapped off, and the flex cuffs fell to the ground. Not gonna happen with leather. Leather may stretch over the years, but it’s not going to break under normal conditions. I’m wearing belt keepers that are older than some of the people I work with, and though they don’t look the best, they are still holding up – a testament of the durability of leather. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this product. It will function like it’s supposed to. But from my point of view, it’s just not going to last like leather, so a subjective three stars it is. ... show more
