The adjustments allow air and humidity to be customized for each type of mushroom. We used off brand fruiting blocks and had an amazing, low-maintenance, crop of lions mane mushrooms.

The mycocontroller quit working with no changes. It reads LLL after short usage. Other than that I really like the set up. But now I’m concerned I’m going to lose my grow bc I can’t control the humidity. Messaged the seller so we shall see. I will revise the review if North Spore replaces the MYCO controller asap.

It's a nice kit but you could make your own for less money and get better quality. Being a newbie this is perfect. I didn't know what I needed. The humidity switch device is cheap and quit working right away. I since ordered a much nicer one. I recommend using the fan on a timer. I let mine run too long and ruined my substrate. First batch was a failure. I think I've worked out understanding the process and the dos and don'ts.

This comes packaged very securely. The whole kit only takes a few minutes to assemble. Instruction booklets are written very well and easy to follow. Everything works well in the kit and keeps the moisture levels at a constant that you set it for. I believe it is an excellent value and will looking to add more.
