Description

The thermomolded, suede lined 6390RDS ALS Level 1 Retention Duty Holsters are sturdy, lightweight, and provide an extra measure of security while on patrol. The ALS (Automatic Locking System) automatically secures the weapon once holstered, and keeps it that way until released via the thumb lever. The release is achieved in an intuitive motion as the weapon is drawn. Designed with a rotating RDS protective cover that automatically opens upon drawing the weapon. Available in Mid-Ride/Hi-Ride/Low-Ride configurations (6390RDS/6392RDS/6395RDS) respectively.

Picked up this holster to use with a Glock 19 in roland special configuration (KKM 4 port comp, surefire X300U, Trijicon SRO) the locking wedge is designed for an RMR, but is removable (bring a friend, it's a 4 hand operation to get the wedge out.) And easy to reshape with a dremel grinding drum until it fits the SRO. Retention is great, and the lever is easy to actuate with your thumb. Once released, the gun is free and easy to draw. Reholstering properly takes a little practice, as usual. The sight cover hatch does a good job keeping debris off your glass, which is important if you have to repaint steel between stages. The included paddle fits well on wide belts, including the old school standard issue nylon pistol belt I have it on. ... show more

This holster looks great on a Ronin battle belt. However the cordura shows wear after a couple weeks of in and out of a vehicle. This was a little disappointing to see. But the STX finish Waldo shoes wear signs eventually as well. But still the rest of the setup is high quality and good fit and finish. ... show more
