Safariland 6360RDS Level Three Retention Duty Holster, Red Dot Sight Compatible, STX Plain Black, Right Hand, Fits: Glock 19/23 Surefire X300U The thermomolded, suede lined 6360RDS ALS/SLS Level 3 Retention Duty Holsters are sturdy, lightweight, and provide an extra measure of security while on patrol. The ALS (Automatic Locking System) builds on the foundation of the SLS (Self Locking System) to offer Level 3 Retention. The SLS rotating hood's closure allows greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways. Simply depress the hood and push forward to release. The ALS system automatically secures the weapon once holstered, and keeps it that way until released via the thumb lever. The release is achieved in an intuitive motion as the weapon is drawn. Designed with a rotating RDS protective cover that automatically opens upon drawing the weapon. Available in Mid-Ride/Hi-Ride/Low-Ride configurations (6360RDS/6362RDS/6365RDS) respectively. Safariland is known for making quality products, and the 6360RDS is no exception. It is reliable, secure and dare I say it's aesthetic (to me). I'm running a G19 w/ Surefire X300U-A and a Holosun 509T mounted (direct mill) and it fits perfectly. It will also fit the G45 w/ SF X300 and optic(s) The optic slot can fit (in my experiences) the following: - Trijicon RMR - Aimpoint ACRO-P1 (likely the P2 upon release) - Holosun 407C/507C/508T/509T I have no experience with other optics such as Sig/Leupold/Vortex at this time but I'm sure if its a similar footprint to the ones listed above, there wouldn't be any problems. The holster will secure and lock up without an optic mounted just fine. It also locks without a flashlight mounted due to a small barrel plug piece at the bottom of the holster. It also with secure fine without a WML installed, but if you buy a WML compatible holster you're (hopefully) already running a WML, lol. Doing some research before I bought it. I wasn’t sure if it would’ve work with my setup. It fit my Glock 45 MOS with an RMR and slr7 perfectly. I like the retention and the red dot cover. Pulling it out is smooth and feels natural. I added a QLS plate to it so I can put it on my drop leg. It was cheaper getting it from Amazon than the safariland website. ... show more

Safariland makes fantastic holsters, I've been using them for years and truthfully I've never found anybody that makes as quality of a product. It fits my Glock 19 perfectly with my surefire weapon light on it and works both with and without a red dot optic.

In my honest opinion you cannot beat this holster for a duty/level 3 rig. If you have a g19/45 and run a threaded barrel or are planning to though please buy a g17 rig to accommodate the extra barrel length. I made this mistake and it is not a cheap holster so I just run factory barrel now. This is not a cheap holster so do it nice or do it twice!! ... show more

For duty use, I have used Safariland for many years. This holster fit the gun well, but did not function well. The thumb release/hood mechanism doesn't seem to mesh well with the design of the RDS cover. It was sticky and didn't release well. At the same time I ordered this, I ordered a new Alien Gear Rapid Force. I liked the feel of the draw better on the RF and it appears to be just as well made, if not a little better. Safariland, you need to work on the ease of draw with this thing. It does look nicer, but for duty it needs to work flawlessly. ... show more
