LOOK NO FURTHER! After educating myself on the various characteristics that make up a quality, high-end rangefinder for Golfing and Hunting, I chose to buy the upgraded version of the GX-2S for golf league and LOVE IT! My buddies have even bought their own GX-2S (upgraded version) after trying it out. I am blown away by so many things in the AOFAR GX-2S Rangefinder bundle. Value is second to none, hands down! The 2-year VIP customer service is as fast and helpful as imaginable! Belle(VIP customer service) has been amazingly helpful answering any questions I've had. It's spot on when compared side by side with the other brands of rangefinders, but a fraction of the price! Plus, the included carrying case is sturdy, compact, and very versatile. I recommend the upgraded version if you play courses without the laser friendly flag sticks. I play weekly at a course without the prisms in the flag sticks and still get an almost instantaneous flag lock, with vibration, every single time. The normal version may be just as good in that regard, but the upgraded version is such a bargain. The GX-2S Rangefinders would work quite well for hunting(accurate in low light, moderate rain, and ranging non-reflective objects like trees, even pine…)the technology differs between the ways in which the scan is done i.e. first object ID for golf and far object ID for hunting through trees….I will definitely be choosing one of AOFAR's Hunting Rangefinders for the upcoming archery season.

Super sturdy and durable rangefinder that does the same job as $100 or $200 range finders. The slope is great and seemingly accurate. it surprisingly locks onto pins easily unlike other budget range finders. On the downsides. It is on the bigger side and it does not feature magnetic strip to attach to the golf cart.

Goods arrived quickly, well packed, it has everything including a carrying case, a lithium battery, and a cleaning microfiber cloth. Compared with Bushnell Pro XE side by side, the difference in measured distance is within 2 yards in most situations, which is acceptable. Bushnell locked on target is quick and no distance drifting while GX-25 slightly slow to lock on the target and the measured distance may drift a little, not much, but just annoying. However, if the pin is in direct sun light, both had difficulty to lock on the target, Bushnell is relatively quick to give a reading, GX-25 may not give a reading in some measurements. If give a reading, the difference in distance is more than 5 yards. Don’t know which one is more accurate under this direct sunlight situation, but both are not reliable and both may not give a reading. I just accept this as I have owned two generations of Bushnell and both had hard times giving me the reading. I would just use GPS watch for the distance. Overall, this is a value package, acceptable results, but nothing extraordinary, a good alternative to the expensive Bushnell. GX-25 Price to quality ratio is very good.

I have a Bushnell that this compares too. It’s just as accurate and easy to use. I don’t think it’s as rugged as the Bushnell and doesn’t have a built in magnet. But range finder function is great has pin lock vibration all in all for the price I can buy 6 of these and spend less than on a Bushnell. It’s a good product. I am a 3 handicap and recommend this to anyone looking to add or replace a range finder.

I bought the Aofar GX-2S golf rangefinder on a Black Friday deal and although the reviews were mixed bad and good I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve used it about 6 times on the course and after comparing its accuracy with other people’s rangefinders and my golf gps I am disappointed in this product. The distances measured are very erratic and many times are very, very far off. There have been times that no matter how many times I try and even if i move around I can’t get it to register a reading. There are times when it appears to give me an accurate reading, but I need a rangefinder that I can trust completely. I am going to send it back and spend a little more to get a reliable rangefinder.
