Platform is very sturdy and worth the money! It locks on the tree very well and I would trust it every time! I painted the platform and used camo tape for the bar. I added the 550 paracord for better grip and also it helps quiet down the metal. Also added a leg felt so that way the screw was quiet!

For what you pay, this saddle platform is awesome!! I've used it for 2 seasons and can honestly say it was well worth what I paid. It super light weight (as some one with shoulder problems, weight matters) which helps when hanging it in a tree. It is built well, and grabs the tree solidly.

Bought the bigger platform and first thing I did when it arrived was paint it and then once dried, I put a cam cleat on it and it works perfectly due to the middle section having an opening big enough for it. Took it out a few times and I'm really impressed with how it bites onto the tree. My only advise is to not pick a tree with loose bark. No matter how much you bite onto the bank it'll become loose. Overall, I love this platform and recommend it to new saddle hunters with a budget.

The platform came missing the bolt and washer that you use to secure the strap to the tree. The platform also has chips on the finish.

Overpriced for what you get. Get a “Grit” brand by tethrd. Needs a better strap to attach to tree. Like the loop only style. Strap Hardware is heavy. Needs an easier screw head to turn for adjustments. Comes sandblasted bright aluminum. So be ready to paint and let cure for a week or so. Screw head to base is very loud so use stealth tape and wrap key points.
