I had no issues putting this together quickly. I only messed up like twice because I’m silly silly. I overcame the undoing and redoing and successfully completed the project perfectly. I decided not to put the bottom “stand / support” on because it made it wiggle only forwards not backwards and it was just a little wabble not a thing major. I am putting this stand in the play room see so I can’t take any chances and we just got the walls painted to I won’t screw anything in the wall. It’s a well made piece of furniture (USA) and I could not buy China made stuff if I can help it after a made in China chair I bought went to the crapper in less than a month. I love the Chinese <3 ANYWAY, the pictures of the people who has issues and their boo hooing and all, their chumps. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the holes at all. In fact I want to highlight how accurate the pre drilled holes are placed. Everything went in place, the holes were the perfect size for the screws and none of them stripped. I recommend this stand based on it's affordable price, solid build, and fairly straightforward assembly. I put this together by myself in about an hour (while also watching TV, so could have been quicker if I wasn't partially distracted). The directions were easy to follow. It looks as expected and is sturdy. I do wish it was a little taller, but otherwise it's just what I needed and less costly than similar stands I found in stores. I like that the shelves in the side storage areas are height adjustable. Fits my 65" TCL 4K HDTV. ... show more

Nice TV stand if you are on a budget. I recently moved and have to furnish my apartment on a budget. This TV stand works well for a small space, low profile, true to color, holds my 55" TV and has storage space for accessories, at an affordable price. However, the quality is what you would expect for the price point. It is particle board and the finish seems like it would scratch and/or wear easily if not babied and taken care of. Assembly was easy, took me about an hour (with no help) and I only needed a small hammer and screw driver. Post assembly, the TV stand is not exactly sturdy, wobbles a bit, but probably won't be an issue if someone doesn't run into it. The company could improve on design and craftsmanship, there was one locking nut that was stripped and I could not get it to tighten and lock properly, and one of the doors on the unit had slight damage (as pictured), but easily concealable with a furniture crayon/marker. ... show more

This unit was the right size and height for what I needed it for. Some of the previous reviews complained of assembly problems. I did receive all of the pieces necessary and they were all well packed. Amazon did a great job on the delivery with no damage to the box. The one tricky part is the attachment of the front doors. The screws need to be loose enough to make final height adjustments. If the door is a little off, it will not fit properly. Once set right the screws can then be tightened. The only other issue I would point out is the weight support that the unit is rated for. This is not meant for heavy items on the shelves and the top is rated at only 120 lbs. Amazon has other units available if more support is needed. All in all very pleased with the product assembled and it will fit my needs as expected. ... show more

Yes, I paid $100 bucks for this, not much I know but WOW, this thing is the physical definition of CHEAP. The main body is made of very thin, weak plywood and it's not painted black, it is actually covered in a black paper-like "skin", so if you tear something it rips off larger pieces like an old price sticker. For some genius reason, the instructions have you assemble it top down, needing to flip it over multiple times to put it together. And for as cheap as the body is, for some reason the center shelf is made out of super-dense particle-board and is SUPER heavy. It's wider than most models, but it is SHORT and once you put it together it really feels tiny. None of the cubes are big enough for more than one DVD box and if you put the center shelf on the highest notch is it BARELY big enough to fit a console in. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone and I will most likely sell it at my next yard sale for it's actual value, about $20 bucks. ... show more

I was worried after reading all the negative reviews but we just assembled it last night and I'm pleased to say this is working out for me great. I'm attaching a picture of the new 65" TV sitting on the 60" TV stand and as you can see, there's room to spare! I also like the modern yet classic 60s look. Wasn't too difficult or time consuming to put together and only took my automatic Phillips head screwdriver. It's nice looking, great price (110ish) and sturdy. ... show more

Assembly is a real pain, and it is made of pressboard underneath, and hte vinyl color layer is easy to scratch or break through. It can be a good value for the money if you are careful and patient, though, and it does ultimately work. The pressboard is cheap, though, and can be easily damaged in assembly or use. ... show more

My Xiaomi Mii Laser projector sits "Centered" on the top of this gray Southlander TV Stand. The Stand is about two inches from the stone chimney wall. The Projector Screen measures 120 inches diagonally and is mounted to two beams on either side of the stone chimney. The Beams are 8 feet from the floor.. The bottom of the projector screen is 30 inches from the floor. The Southlander TV Stand is 18 inches high. The center shelves hold my DIRECTV Receiver and my DVD player. The two shelves behind the closed doors are excellent for DVD storage without creating a cluttered appearance. The room has two windows shades partially opened and two French doors partially opened with extra light coming from the balcony below. The Xiaomi projector produces a picture that is probably 80 to 90 percent of how awesome the image brightness would appear at night with no lights on in the room. This stand works perfect with a UST projector, a 120 inch projector screen and an 8 foot ceiling. ... show more
