No matter how different setting powders I try for contouring, I always end up back here. It’s so soft, combats oil in the t-zone area, doesn’t cake, the color doesn’t make you look like a clown either. It has a smooth application, blends seamlessly, last all day without reapplying, and brightens those areas in such an amazing way, with no flashback! You get a lot for the price (compared to other brands). This is my “Go-To!” I am a caramel t shade, and the original shade “buttercup” is best for me, and other brown complexion WOC. They do have lighter options for lighter complexions, but I can only vouch for the shade that I’ve used. THIS IS AUTHENTIC, so I ONLY PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE! Shipping was fast, I got it the next day!

Doesn't change the color of all my makeup, contouring, or blush! Just seals the work I've just done without changing the colors. The pic I am posting is just foundation, blush, and my eyebrows. But I wanted to post so u could see how even my skin tone looks with this stuff! I have combo skin, oily and also dry (yes I know it doesn't make sense!). So finding makeup that works with my skin is frustrating. I've been using dermacol foundation but it needed a setting powder. I tried a few different ones that didn't work and ended up leaving me shiny and greasy feeling after a cpl hours. I have larger pores as well due to cystic acne as a teen...I do use a bit of the Baby Skin pore minimizer over my foundation. But even after I would use that u could still see my pores. One of the setting powders I used actually made my pores look LARGER! This one works very well with Baby Skin and my skin just looks so fluid and fresh. I love it!! I also wanted to add that I am a surgical assistant and we are constantly changing our masks and I don't like being able to see my makeup rub off on my mask and show everyone how much makeup I'm wearing since I try to look natural at work lol. Since I've been wearing this with my makeup it doesn't rub off nearly as often!!! Which also means I don't have to reapply nearly as often! I am soooo happy I decided to try this stuff!

Where has this powder been all of my life?! I thought it was just YouTube hype, but nope, this powder is the BIZNASSSS!! I use different formulas of foundation depending on what I'm doing that day. If I'm photographing a wedding outside in the heat, I wear a liquid waterproof foundation. For everyday wear, I use a stick foundation. I tested Buttercup during a wedding on a pretty hot day where I tend to "glisten" (boys sweat, girls glisten ) and thought for sure that I had wiped most of my makeup off by the time I got home 10 hours later. Nope! I walked through the door and my guy said "You must have had a really easy indoor wedding." Aside from my lipstick, ALL of my makeup was right where I'd put it over 10 hours before....including my highlighter! Since I get a little oily in the T-zone, I did blot about half way through the day because I felt "glistening" going on. I was really surprised at how well this powder kept everything in place and looking fresh. It's not drying at all and leaves my skin looking and feeling very supple and healthy. It's great with my stick foundation as well. My friend took a few photos of me using a professional flash on my camera during the wedding reception and there wasn't any flashback. Good thing I blended well! It's so smooth and blends VERY well! I blended mine with an oval brush and a regular powder brush and while I personally prefer my oval brushes, it went on well with the regular brush, too. I'm not sure how well the compact version would work, but since I don't like to travel with a container of loose powder in my bag and would like to have a more convenient way to carry it, I MAY have to give it a try.
