These sticky tricky insect traps work great and use no chemicals. They are made of good and thick cardboard. They come three to a page with perforations so that you can choose the size trap you want. A large trap (using all three together) would be 7.5 inches long x 3.5 wide, a medium trap (using two) would be 5 inches long x 3.5 wide, and a small trap (one) is 2.5 inches wide x 3.5 long. They are easy to fold and assemble. Tip, fold the trap into shape first, then remove the sticky trap film cover and close up the top. The sticky part is strong and is only on the bottom of the trap. The traps are open on the sides but protected at the top. They do not have any smell. They have a place to write the date and area where traps are placed. They are great to use inside the house, patio and garage. I am very pleased with these "no chemicals, select a size" insect traps and recommend them.

These will not capture every type of insect. I've found that weevils and brown marmorated stink bugs can walk right along the adhesive strip as if it weren't even sticky at all. I'm not sure why this is. I've read that sticky traps are an effective method at capturing the stink bug but I'm my experience, unless they end up flipping onto their backs while trying to climb up a fly strip, they don't stick at all. I thought given the difference of the adhesive on these insect traps that they might be more effective but they simply aren't. I've seen a lot of weevils in my home as well so I thought I could try to diminish the population by placing these sticky traps in areas where I've seen them. Particularly my garage and basement bathroom. Well, I managed to catch one in the sticky trap by getting it to walk into it. It freed itself rather quickly so I pushed it further onto the advised strip. Checked on the trap and hour later and it was still there. Checked on it again the next day, it was gone. Assuming this was ineffective at capturing the weevils, I assume a stink bug will be able to walk across it the same as they do the flu strips. My primary reason for purchasing insect traps were because I saw a brown recluse in my garage. Whether or not the traps will prove effective at capturing spiders, remains to be seen. I know that proper placement is key and I've put about 5 along the walls in dark undistributed areas where they might be likely to lurking. After two days, I haven't seen any spiders in the traps. I am going to try adding more traps closer to the corners in my garage and we will see. I am not as of yet very impressed with these insect traps.
