The mattress will smell funky (like plastic) for a bit, so let it air out. The non slip surface is a nice touch, and the mattress feels and looks like a good quality mattress. It definitely feels on the firmer side, but for side sleepers, has some give. It's comfortable for both a fully grown man and a pregnant woman. It will of course depend on bed preference for each person. I use mine for a murphy bed, so it is only ever either completely unfolded or folded.     • Pretty decent: Couch Mode isn’t Perfect
TL;DR version: -Firm cushion, not thin foam. Dense, supportive, didn’t overheat. -Decent as mat for bed. -Pretty sold as couch with a little tweaking. Subjectively more comfortable than cheap couches from stores that collapse in a month or goodwill second hand broken couches. -In couch mode, full size is about the width of a loveseat. -Highly recommended for cheap couch option or temporary bed. Long version: I bought this after I moved because I can’t afford a decent couch right now, (can’t anyone really in this economy?!) I generally don’t mind floor furniture but even Amazon floor couches seem costly. But this little mattress, for its price, is actually pretty decent! I mainly use it folded up in couch mode, the back cushion does kind of sink as the design folds so there’s no cushioning. But I found if you put a long narrow box against the wall on the floor, then line up the mattress against it, and let the back rest sit on the boxes, it doesn’t sink so far. Honestly for $80 it’s more comfortable than most second hand/goodwill couches ive dealt with. The mattress pads themselves are dense but squishy but two stacked on top of eachother creates a nice firm seat. Seriously, I’m a plus sized person and these cushions still support me well. It’s also pretty comfy as a bed. Had a few nights while sick that I just unfolded it and fell asleep watching tv. Again you may have to adjust due to the creases but for $80 I’m impressed. I’ve not tried it car camping yet but considering every air mattress I’ve ever gotten, even the fancy ones has popped in really looking forward to trying something more comfortable. Highly recommend! Insanely reasonable price. P.S. throw a nice blanket over it in couch mode and it honestly looks even better than the $200-300 “floor couches” on Amazon ... show more

My husband and I bought this after moving into a smaller space where we don't have room for a traditional bed. We have been using every night for 4 months and it is super comfortable we forget its not a whole bed. We don't wake up in pain and the put away is easy. The only thing I didn't like is the bag is flimsy, we don't even use it anymore. We just fold it and keep it to the side. I will say if you get the bigger beds it is large even folding up, it is after all a queen but still easy enough for me to fold up and put away by myself if needed. I purchased the 6 inch queen with optional storage bag. The 4 star is because the bag is junk. Don't waste the extra money on purchasing the bag they offer...it is super cheap quality and has tore already. Buy a seperate bag. The mattress is firm (not hard) but comfortable. I was surprised how well I slept. I bought a sheet specifically made for the tri fold mattresses because I like my sheets to fit smooth and not pop off.     • Three-fold mattress that elevates your dorm room sleep experience.
I bought this for an alternative to a mattress that night be typically paired with a futon for when my daughter came to stay for a few nights. She has some pain, and autoimmune issues, so I was on the hunt for a portable, thicker mattress that is a few cuts above your typical mattress used for this purpose. And I did my research. I knew I wanted a mattress that was meant to be used directly on the floor, without a frame. I Did end up pairing it with a 3” cooling gel mattress topper, And a soft, padded cover—which had a skirt much like a fitted sheet that could accommodate a 10-12” thickness overall. This worked Beautifully! And my daughter reported that it was Extremely Comfortable. Not to mention, that as soon as she left the bed, (a hard thing to do)—my cats took turns taking it over like the little Queen & King that is used to being pampered in comfort! I would classify the 6” structure as softly firm—with no chance of being labeled as too flimsy or too hard. It folds in threes for convenience and ease of storage. Light enough to easily move. Only modification to the styling would be if they had added a handle as an extra, feature of convenience for transport. I think I made a wise choice And she says—It definitely beats the Air Mattress experience. Sleep was augmented and improved with this alternative, bedding arrangement. I ordered this product to use as a playmat for my new born. It quickly made its way from there to being used as a mat in front of my television. What I didn’t expect was it to be as comfortable as it is convenient to put away. On my lazy days where I am too tired to get out of bed I transition from bedroom to my living room where so get an extra 30 minutes of sleep while my Toddler watches his favorite show.
