So...this mattress is kind of amazing! We let it fluff and air out for a few days inside an ALiner travel trailer, which is where it will be primarily used. As such, we didn't smell much, but being sensitive to respiratory irritants, I can say it didn't bother me at all while unpacking, which is unusual. Comfort ranking is high for this mattress. One of our family slipped a vertebrae and this mattress is one of the few places they find comfortable, so that huge. We got a twin-xl The idea that we could fold it up and lay it out without much effort was big deal to us. It allows us to use the dining area of the trailer during the day, and have a super comfortable bed at night. We even pop over to the trailer just to relax at our house as the mattress is so comfortable. The folds land in innocuous areas, so pressure points aren't hitting in a grove, which would destroy its comfort/support. The individuals using this range from 5'7-6'2". Obviously time and use will be the real test for this mattress, but currently, we're pleased and we're considering purchasing a Queen size for the other bed in the trailer. As a bonus, putting fitted sheets on is so easy, slip the corners onto the end that doesn't fold up easily first, then fold the other end up, slip corners onto mattress then flatten out, fitted sheets without fighting. ... show more

I purchased this mattress to use temporary early while my furniture was moved from one end of the country to the other. I did not want to purchase another full-size mattress, but figured I could use this as a guest mattress for the nieces and nephews when they come to visit. This came in a quite small box shrink, wrapped and very compact. After opening the package and letting it expand for several hours, it expanded to the full 6 inch thickness. The mattress is quite firm. While it is comfortable for a couple of nights, after a week of sleeping on this, it does become a little more uncomfortable. I would definitely not use this as a permanent mattress topper or as a permanent mattress but for a short period of time this is a pretty decent temporary option. ... show more

My back feels great sleeping on this mattress combined with the Maxzzz 2 Inch Mattress Topper Queen (https://a.co/d/78aaljx). The two together give me a nice firm bed with just enough give. I'm very happy with this purchase for everynight use. The mattress fits my queen bed frame perfectly. I let it decompress and air out for two nights before sleeping on it, and I found that by that time the scent had dissipated enough that when I put a mattress protector on it it was no longer extremely noticeable. It's not a bad scent, it's just a new scent. On it's own, would be alright in a pinch, but not for everyday use. I used this full time. I'm disabled and I sleep in a hospital bed. It adjusts/bends well with the bed positions. When leaving my dog at home when I would run errands, I'd fold up the mattress. I positioned it so it would fold and rest at the head of my bed as I would occasionally allow my dog to sleep with on the foot of my bed. He wouldn't limit himself at the foot when I left. By folding it it was too thick for him to hop up on it, along with the bed raised . I have spinal stenosis so I had to end up getting a new, regular hospital bed mattress. I am always so skeptical of buying online. Mostly because you don’t really know what to expect other than what the pictures show. Everyone has different preferences and opinions. But this by far was the best floor futon I’ve ever slept on in my life. I grew up with a big family and we always had a futon ready to go for sleep overs, but never as comfortable as this is. I was interested in a folding mattress when one of my daughter’s friends brought one for a sleepover. We have gone through so many blow up mattresses as they all seem to fall apart or puncture or get big humps in them after a couple uses. Also, inflatable mattresses just suck and are not very comfortable. We were using a higher end one to make our pull out couch “more comfortable”. Glad I was not sleeping on it. Also whenI camp with buddies, I would have an inflatable mattress in the bed of my pick up and I slept crappy each time. After our “high end” inflatable got one of the humps, due to some internal problem, I vowed to never buy one again. After some research I bought this from Amazon. The queen size fits perfectly in the bed of my truck (have a camp shell, so I can sleep while camping. I was so happy the first time I used it and slept great for the next 4 nights while camping. Our guests are much more comfortable. We even have used it while visiting the in-laws since they have a crappy pull out sofa and now I even like going to visit them since I know the bed will be comfortable. Get one! Pros: Very, very comfortable Includes Case Folds up to make somewhat smaller Did I mention comfortable? No inflation, humps or deflating issues! Guests are much more comfortable. Fits perfectly in the bed of my truck. I love this mattress. For some reason I thought it the 6inch would’ve looked like an 8inch, but it’s not too slim. I overslept for work the first night I slept on it! 😆 it’s pretty darn firm. I bought this trifold mattress for a Murphy bed cabinet. I wasn’t sure how comfortable the bed would be as there are many wooden folding parts.
