I use these batteries for my Ryobi blower, hedge trimmer, and power washer. Normally, I get at least three year battery life and can depend on at lease 20 minutes continuous use before recharge necessary. To keep going, I simply put the battery onto the Ryobi charger and put another charged battery onto the Ryobi tool. Changing what I was going to write (and apparently didn’t finish). Needed to replace my original robi battery and right off the bat, this was soo much better. Now it’s been 2-months and the battery no longer will charge (I’ve been through 3 chargers) and it’s too late to return. I have an edger and blower and it won’t work on either. It charged properly and It looks like it should be a good and is rated at 1.5 amp hours. It has a built in charge level indicator so that you can tell if it needs recharged BEFORE you start a project.

For household use, I prefer these smaller batteries (this is 1.5 Ah). They weigh less than the bigger ones, so I just make sure I've got a spare charged up in case the battery runs down, but usually I've got more than enough charge for whatever I'm working on (I most often use it with a drill, but occasionally a small hedge trimmer). I like the newer style. With the press of a button, it lights up and lets me know that it's charged and ready. I also like that this is an actual Ryobi and not a knock-off. ... show more

I ordered this battery along with the affiliated Ryobi charger. The battery does not charge. When I reached out to the seller, the only information provided was from Ryobi Support. The Ryobi Support team said this is being sold by a non-authorized reseller and therefore is not covered under warranty. Stay away from purchasing a battery from this source. I would appreciate if this reseller would respond to me so I can finally get the charger I paid for. Thanks. ... show more
