The mower broke after the second use. Because of poor construction. How can you use plastic nutts to hold a metal blade. Very disappointed with Ryobi. It was very embarrassing as this was an anniversary present for my husband.

love that it is electric. Would be great for very small lawns. easy to hang up and quiet like a vacuum cleaner! We live in Houston and have St Augustine. we need 4" height to protect roots in our brutal summer and deter weeds. This product will not cut it. Literally. probably at bes 3" height. so we will be getting a different product. PS the company we ordered from was great. ... show more

The collector bag fills quickly, so have a wheelbarrow standing by. The 'longest' setting on the blade height adjustment gives a pretty close shave and that is the only thing I am not too happy with. I have new sod and don't want to kill it before it is established. You also need to have your own power cord. The description gave me the impression it came with a one hundred-foot power cord. It did not. I like that it is very lightweight, and the minor amount of assembly was simple. I use a broom to sweep it clean. And only use it after the dew has dried on the grass. Otherwise I am pretty sure it would be tough to clean after each use. ... show more

    • Great and easy to use mower.
It may be only 13 inch but for a few extra passes it does the same job. It's light enough that mowing is much less effort so in spite of the extra steps, you are not as tired. It's lightweight so you can pick it up to store on a high shelf with the handle folded up. It's electric so prep time is nearly zero. (No oil or gas to check and store somewhere.) Effective and efficient and I would buy it again. Now, if I had a couple of acres I'd probably get a bigger one, but for 1/2 acre or so, it's great! ... show more
