  • Good for Small Form Factor systems
Style: Style 2
I needed to get a graphics card so that I could split screens for presentations. This card was great for the price. It is low profile for smaller form factor systems, but it will fit larger desktops as well. I have been using it now for a few months and it has worked great. I can also play some games like CS GO and Fortnite. It isn't for higher end gaming, but good for multitasking and some gaming. ... show more

  • A decent 1080p SFF size card for the money
Style: Style 2
I ordered two of these video cards to be placed inside small form factor (SFF) sized desktops which means they needed to have low profile PCI brackets not full sized brackets, hence why I ordered this card type. I received one card with the low profile bracket and another with a full sized bracket, with no bracket for swapping. This was kind of confusing, support was non-existent so I resorted to manually modifying the full size bracket to fit properly this worked for me, but many may not be as brave or stupid, depending how you see it, to risk such a modification. Aside from the inconsistent bracket size you need to note while they are AMD cards they are running the soon to be retired Polaris chipset so you will need to download the Adrenalin Edition software not the regular AMD drivers, you can search by model using: Radeon 500 Series > Radeon RX 500 > Radeon RX 550 . This isn't documented in the box there just very simplified instructions lacking details to be truly helpful. Other than this hiccup and the bracket installation was pretty painless and once proper drivers installed ran without a hitch. As far as performance both cards have been solid performers for most esport game titles at 1080p maintaining constant temperatures of about 53~60 Celsius for most titles while more intense games can push it to around 75 Celsius which is still 15 degrees below maximum temperature guidelines. They are not super noisy and seem to temp control very well. We have them paired with i5 4590 (4th gen) CPUs and 32GB of 2333Mhz DDR3 memory so aren't getting the highest support but still not bogging down with a CPU or Memory bottleneck. Generally high end settings places the card in a sub/low 30 fps while mid-range settings will see easily 60 fps, and if you want to run potato it'll slap the doors off for you. TLDR: This card took a decent PC and made a decent Gaming PC for not a lot of money in a SFF desktop. ... show more

  • Component Failure
Style: Style 2
Needed a reasonably priced card for a low profile, single wide slot in a Dell Inspiron. Installed this RX 550 gpu with no issue and it worked well for the first few days with ok performance. Video signal began to have different issues that no driver version could rectify. Gave up on this card and just returned the POS and got an even lower end GT 1030 gpu that has been working without issue. ... show more

  • Didn’t come with low profile bracket
Style: Style 2
The GPU came with a standard height bracket and not the low profile bracket shown in the picture. Had to order a low profile bracket separately.

  • Missing bracket
Style: Style 2
Gpu works good, but it was missing the low profile bracket that is shown in the photos. It only came with the full height bracket, which defeated the point of ordering the low profile card.

  • Just fits in my Dell Inspiron 3647
Style: Style 2
This RX 550 4GB is the perfect upgrade for my Dell Inspiron 3647. I was concerned that it would work because of the PC's front panel USB header cable you see there in the last photo. I was able to run the cable through the GPU (under the schoud without any disassembly) to plug it in... Then I inserted the GPU into the PCIe slot and Bingo... Everything worked out beautifully. ... show more
