I got this insulation curtain to tackle the cold drafts coming from my downstairs garage door, and it has been a total game-changer. I think you’d love it. It’s 33” x 80”, which fits most standard doors, and it’s made from oxford fabric on the outside with a waterproof backing, so it’s really durable. It’s got thermal insulation, so it helps to keep the temperature in your room regulated by blocking drafts, whether it’s hot or cold outside. It has magnetic strips sewn along the center, so the door can close on its own, you do need to pin the center of the top of the door up a little higher than the sides of the top of the door to make it work. Plus, it comes with two hooks to keep it open when you need to. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s perfect for keeping the cold air out. It’s a simple, affordable solution and honestly, it’s been a power saver for me.

This is my first door cover and it works great. It was super easy to install in my RV. It comes with a long roll of hook fastener adhesive that is more than enough to cover the entire door. You do need to have scissors to cut it to size, but it is easy to do. It fits my RV door well, honestly a little on the big side for it. It is noticeable how much warmer things are inside since installing it. The magnetic attachments work well to hold it together and on the top the two sides are attached together so they stay in the right spot. The cover also works amazing as a light blocker. It is a little strange to me to open the door and not see the automatic light that turns on when the door is opened. Instead there is just a solid wall of blanket that has to be pushed aside to get in. Yet, the added warmth is wonderful and I am thrilled with it.

This thermal insulated door curtain is for small openings in homes and RVs. The curtain measures 33'' x 80'' and you need space on the top and sides for the mounting tape, also included. It's well made, appears durable, looks good, and fits as described. Thaditional materials and thickness. The design and installation are also standard for thermal door covers. The sticky tape comes in one piece and you need to cut it with scissors into proper lengths. Color-matching small nails are provided for extra strength so you will also need a hammer. I only put 3 on the top as the sides stick very well. In contrast to the provided installation instructions, I recommend attaching the sticky tape separately. That makes it much easier to get it straight and even for a one person installation. Start from the sides. Go top to bottom in small increments removing the back paper as you go, making sure the tape is in the right position and sticks without wrinkles or bubbles. The downside of this approach is the possible need to first make the measurements determining where the tape should be on the door frame, so it might take a bit longer, but will likely result in a much better fit in the end. Good value for money, increased comfort, and smaller heating bill.

This installs pretty easy. You'll want to take your time to ensure you get the Velcro placed properly. The adhesive is pretty strong. I wouldn't want to rework it much once it's in place. Be sure to clean the areas you plan to stick the Velcro to. This is a little thinner than I was expecting. I'm really happy with the overall quality though. The magnets that hold the two halves closed work well. The instructions are nice and clear with decent photos illustrating the installation process. One tip that I found helpful is to place the center of the top just a little higher than the top corners. This helps draw the sides together naturally letting the magnets close together on their own after going through. The bottom needs to be above the floor a little for this to happen reliably.
