They work great. They let in a little air, and let some of the heat escape. We have done the aftermarket hood scoop, it does okay to let a small amount of heat out. But honestly...these and the floor vents are probably our best upgrades to reduce heat. Downside, mud and rocks fling in a little easier when you have the doors gapped. After market fans are also a great addition. If you are okay with mud, I seriously advocate for these. I am good with mud and just try to be mindful of my head and arm placement when we are on loose rock.
