We have torn quite a few RV covers over the years with our gutters. Having tried everything from tennis balls to whiffle balls, they all have fallen off during a good windstorm. These rubber caps sit snuggly and are easy to put on. My only suggestion would be to drill a hole in the center so that if by chance water gets under your cover, it can still escape the gutter instead of sitting on your seams. ... show more

A must for your RV cover. Will keep your cover from ripping in a bad storm. I had my cover on my trailer for the winter and some of the spring, the cover never ripped. These will save your cover. I would definitely recommend this product… thank you

    • Not the best product for all downspouts.
They're nice, if they stay on. It might be easier to put the cover on, then go under it and install the guards. I got a four pack and only two will stay on the othyer two just keep popping off.

    • No more tears in your RV cover
We used pool noodles before running into this gadget. So glad we did. The pool noodles would end up falling off when it got windy and was hard to keep on when you were trying to put the cover on. We have a 35-foot 5th wheel, and it takes some maneuvering to get the cover on. These defiantly made it easier. ... show more
