I needed a few umbrellas around the house. Here was a packet of three that were reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised upon receipt. The quality was better than expected. They open and close with great ease. compared to umbrellas I have purchased in the past. I love the flashlight at the base of the handle. It will help light your way on a dark evening. The separately switched lighting in the shaft is more than a novelty. It makes you more visible to motorists and the like. These umbrellas are actually pretty good. I've been looking at others the same price but you only get one. Here you get 3 as advertised. The umbrella shaft is bright and you can switch to any color you want and to my surprise the flashlight is really bright. The only downside I could see is they dont come with a carry case like some others, but I wouldnt carry it across my back anyway so that doesnt matter. They do have a wrist loop though. Also, the umbrella shaft does scratch easily. All mine came with some defects of that sort. It didn't bother me as I know that would happen with use anyway. I havent taken them out in very windy conditions...I usually dont go out when there is a lot of rain and wind but in a "normal" rain storm they work just fine. The supports appear to be either a fiberglass or plastic but I've seen metal ones that break or snap just as easily, so again, I'm not worried. Especially for the great price. The ends are also covered in plastic which is nice for kids I imagine. I've only had these a few weeks so time will tell in regards to longevity. ... show more

I do wish the lighted shaft of the umbrella was brighter, but overall it was a good product. Kept me dry, wasn't very large or heavy to carry, and the spotlight at the bottom of the handle is nice for nighttime walking.

I don’t write reviews for all my online purchases. I only write reviews on items that are either very bad, or very good! This umbrella is excellent! I’ve tried so many different kind of umbrella. This one not only looks super cool, it’s very sturdy too! We have a storm today & this umbrella is not flipping under gusty wind! My 6 year old can open & close this umbrella by himself easily because of its great mechanism. Price is reasonable. Highly recommended! ... show more

We really loved them but we are suckers for kitch. Our favorite is the clear one. Not only is it a good umbrella, but walking in the dark in the snow looks like a light saber and illuminates your immediate walking area. Would totally buy it again. wish we had two clear. Bought them to block the sun at Disney (my son is sun sensitive and I'm prone to skin cancer) we love them and continue to use them at home. Also helped us to find each other in the dark. Flashlight at the handle, COLOR CHANGEING saber allows you to be as dark as you like but you dont have to commit to the dark side ... show more

The size and quality of the umbrella shades is really good. The flashlight works on all three umbrellas. However , only 2 of the 3 umbrella handles !lights up. So, one will be for day use only.

These are half the cost of others, and very cool. I bought many more as gifts, and I have requests for more. The bottom flashlight is bright enough to see when walking or looking for something.
