Description

The Auto-Changeover LP Regulator allows you to hook up 2 Propane tanks and the regulator automatically switches over to the second tank once the first one runs out (and vice versa). The indicator changes color to let you know when a tank has been depleted and needs to be refilled. The inlet is a 1/4" SAE inverted flare and the outlet is a 3/8" NPT female. Also included are 2 of the 12" pigtails to connect the regulator to the propane tank or propane supply.

Happy with the regulator. Works as intended. However, the plastic nut for the valve fitting broke on one of the pigtails so we had to buy a replacement. We've only had it for 4 months and it's been protected by a dual tank cover so no exposure to sun. Not impressed with this.

I received this very quickly which was great since my propane is my source of heat! Very easy to install. After 3 months it began to leak and it was a few days past the return date. I contacted the company and Mendel replaced it immediately! Originally I thought it was one of the hose connectors that was leaking so that’s what he sent me. But it was actually the body of the unit and when I contacted him again he immediately sent the whole unit to me! This is very easy to install except they’re to cheap to add a small roll of plumbers tape to insure the there’s no leakage from the main hose to the regulator. So before you install it pick some up at a hardware store before installing. Other than that it’s working perfectly. May update later after using it for a while.
