I ordered this because I was sick of my cheap stainless steel double bowl sink and could not install my preferred farm sink. Took a leap based on description and purchased. I cannot be gentle on a kitchen sink! You should not have to be gentle on a kitchen sink! Real cooking is not gentle! I cook a lot, therefore use the sink a lot, and if you do that it will stain. I have hard water and it shows. I washed acrylic paint brushes and that shows etc. I dropped my knife while washing it and it hit the edge of sink and created a nick. I would have to sand the sink and apply mineral oil to make it look sparkling clean and who has that time or energy. So I just let go of the Virgo in me and accept the stains and the little nick and will sand and apply mineral oil when I move and sell the house. I recommend an enamel cast iron sink and should have gone that route.

I was so nervous ordering this sink online unseen. I wasn't sure about the black, but I knew that I hated the stainless-steel sinks. I went from a double to a single also unsure of what to do. I went with my gut and got what i really wanted even if I was unsure and it was the best decision I have ever made. I can't say enough about I much I love this sink. Cleans so easy and looks so nice. I have had some friends now wanting to purchase one. I waited to do this review until I had my sink a while so I could give a true review. This Ruvati sink is so worth the money and was delivered in perfect condition and well packaged.The single sink is so much better than the double sink and it you want to wash dishes just get a dishpan or container and it works perfect. You won't regret purchasing this sink.

I was worried about buying a black sink but ours is holding up nicely still and I love it. It’s very durable and I haven’t scratched it yet even though I can be careless in the kitchen. I would attach a picture but our house is not finished fully yet. I paired ours with a black faucet and it all looks great against a light oak color contrast!

If you're on the fence about buying a sink on Amazon, you have nothing to worry about with this one. I bought mine in February and it's November now, and we are HEAVY sink users lol. We leave dishes in our sink for days at a time. Metal, ceramic, boiling water, acidic foods, staining type of foods... nothing leaves marks or damages it. It's super easy to clean (we just use dish soap and a regular plastic bristle brush like for doing dishes). Could not be happier with it!

First sink arrived broken. The entire corner was cracked off. The plumber had to return the next week when the replacement arrived. Had it for a couple of months now and it is such a tremendous improvement over the 5" deep, scratched stainless steel, double sink piece of junk that came with the house. Now I can actually wash pots and pans. Only issue? Light water stains from the hard Florida water. I'll try to remove them this weekend.
