I never thought I'd write a sink review, but I absolutely love our 23-inch Ruvati sink and want to encourage others who may be considering it over a "premium" brand. Our sink replaced a Franke D-shaped model (admittedly quite old) and we far prefer it. First things first: steel is steel. We're talking about a folded piece of metal, so really the differentiators come down to: - Gauge - Sound dampening materials - Shape - Finish - Accessories *Gauge* It's 16-gauge, which is heavy. Check. Not likely to bend and dent very easily. Theoretically a lower vibration frequency (less tinny). *Sound dampening* These sinks have large dampening pads as well as a sound-dampening coating. It's much quieter than the one it replaced, which only had a coating. The pads are well placed for where you're likely to bang things - for example, the pads on the side are perfectly placed if - like me - you like to crack your eggs just inside on a clean edge of the sink. I have no complaints about the sound. (The grid inside also helps muffle sound of things you're putting in the sink). *Shape* Love the shape. Rectangular with easy-clean corners. Drain at the back. Unexpectedly fits some of my pans I considered to have long handles. *Finish* I don't know anything about stain-resistant coatings or whatnot, but I *do* know that I love the matte brushing. A shiny sink is going to get scratched, but this one comes with a very attractive brushing that - when sponging - you can clearly feel the direction of. As a result, when I'm washing the sink it's very easy to move the sponge in a consistent direction along the current brushing and to avoid adding scratches in random directions. (Not that I'm using a scratchy sponge - but it will be useful if I decide to use a semi-abrasive cleanser). It also doesn't show spots very well. *Accessories* Comes with a nice grid, and I oddly love the drain cover even though you need to remove it to get big chunks down the disposal (if you have one). We purchased the garbage disposal flange which I felt a bit silly about but it really does fit and look nicer than the one that came with the disposal and had a good drain stopper. I can't think of any other sink-specific accessories, since something like a colander can come from any brand. Overall, I highly recommend this sink and would absolutely buy another one if I do another kitchen renovation.

I like the size and the design of the sink bottom that guides water to the drain. Good quality and convenient size for a trade-up. What I do not like is there was no option from the manufacturer to select if the drain flange should be mounted or unmounted. Seems to me this option should be offered because most sinks have a garbage disposal. I contacted Ruvati about this and they said I could purchase the non-flange drain separately. I think this is wrong and the customer should have a choice.

Follow the directions for care- which is clean OFTEN and with the ‘grain’ of the stainless. I have small marks on the bottom of the sink where the rubber feet of the drainer sit, but only see them when I’m cleaning the sink. We just purchased another Ruvati!

First of all let me say that this is only the second time in 6 years that I have ever felt the need to rate anything and that I haven't received anything in return for this rating. This sink is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone who comes over seems to gravitate over to it and say how beautuful it is and mention that we must have paid a pretty penny for it. When we tell them where we got it and what we paid, they are shocked. Before we ordered this sink, we looked at a couple big box stores and were disappointed in what they had and the high prices they were charging. I told my husband that I wanted to wait and look around on line to see if I could find what I wanted instead of settling for what we were finding. Boy am I happy that I waited. When I found this sink on Amazon and showed it to him, his comment was that at that price it probably wasn't going to be great but that we could always return it if we didn't like it. Boy were we shocked when we opened the box. This is one beautiful high end looking sink. The quality of this sink is so much nicer than anything we had looked at. I find myself going into the kitchen to just look at my sink. Dont let the low price scare you off. Trust me, if you order this sink, you won't be disappointed.

Ruvati makes a very nice sink. It's a bit spendy, but... I purchased two under-the-counter mount sinks. They're both Ruvati, one for the kitchen and one for the pantry. I'm very impressed with them. These sinks have some serious deadening insulation in the way of some coating on the bottom. These are miles and years ahead of the old stainless sinks that we saw in the past. The quality is high. I'm anxious to get them installed but I'm waiting for my granite counter tops to arrive.

I did have to return it only because my cabinet was too small! The sink itself was really nice, of great quality and I liked the accessories.

This sink is attractive, deep, and the perfect size for a single sink. The slightly rounded bottom corners make it easier to clean than the squared bottoms. It has a nice drain strainer with attractive, modern, drain cover plate. It's quiet and has a nice finish. Highly recommend.

We have now had our 20" undermount bar sink for a year. We love the extra depth compared to our old 7" surface mount sink. Also the extra "depth" where the faucet is mounted. As some have said, food does tend to stay on the bottom & needs to be manually wiped toward the drain, but we find it to be a minor annoyance & and are happy with the compromise of extra depth. And while the specs call for a 24" base cabinet, our countertop installer was easily able to install it in our 22" opening.
