The thickness and weight of these sheets are excellent and provide more of everything that I like about flannel sheets. The weight, warmth, and softness of flannel combined with it's sound dampening attributes are what I love and these sheets just keep getting better with use and laundering. I purchased a set of these sheets in the pink plaid print, for my mother. She absolutely loved them so I figure I'd try a set, as well. I purchased the white ones with roses. They are fantastic. Nicely constructed of thick, soft flannel cotton. They laundered beautifully, as well. They do release a good amount of "fluff", in the dryer. However, based no past purchases of other flannel sheets, this is normal. Once all of the loose fluff is gone, they will be just fine. They fit my king sized mattress, perfectly. The flat sheet covers all sides of the mattress, so that when making the bed, you do not see any part of the mattress, uncovered (that's a pet peeve of mine). The king set comes with two king size pillow cases. As for keeping me warm, they do a wonderful job at that. All in all, I'm very pleased with the quality of the sheets.
