The moment you open the bottle, you get a rich, wonderful cocoa butter scent. The fragrance is quite noticeable, but since I don't have fragrance sensitivities, it doesn't bother me at all. Texture & Application: The oil gel has a thick consistency, but it absorbs into the skin remarkably well, leaving it noticeably soft and deeply hydrated. Pro Tip: I highly recommend applying it right after stepping out of the shower while your skin is still damp. If you apply it on dry skin, it might feel a bit sticky. Pairing this with the matching Amazon Basics Cocoa Butter Lotion is the absolute perfect combo! It gives my skin that radiant, healthy glow and long-lasting moisture I’ve been looking for. Note for sensitive skin types: Since I’ve seen a few reviews mention potential irritation, it might be a good idea to do a patch test on a small area of your arm first.
