Looks beautiful and was pretty easy to mount. Only issue is that the holes weren't evenly spaced on all of the boards, so make sure you measure for each board (and don't assume it's even like I did) or else you will have to drill twice...

Bought them to be bookshelves but they are a bit too shallow for normal books. But I cannot count that against them just because I mis-measured. What I really deducted stars for was the fact that upon opening of the box, the varnish or finish on the shelves immediately transferred to hands and everything the shelves touched. Perhaps it would be okay if they were wiped down, but I expected a finished product and I don’t feel like that’s what I received. ... show more

Easy to install and looks really nice. I was looking for an idea to show off my Santa mug collection. We were going to make some shelves, but once I saw the color, I decide it would be easier to install something that already had the color I liked and the size worked out great. Excuse the pictures. I wasn't done deciding how I was going to decorate, but I am soooooooo pleased with these shelves. There was a card that came with the box, thanking me for my purchase and recommended I watch a YouTube video on how to install. WATCH IT. Especially if you have never installed floating shelves. I even downloaded the level tool app. Worked perfect!! Installed SO EASY. Tip:I labeled each shelf AND piece of tape 1,2,& 3. One shelf was spaced differently that the other, so one blueprint piece of tape won't match the other 2. ... show more

Great looking shelves! ONLY thing I would ask for is some kind of mounting diagram to help line up the holes. One issue is that each shelf is different. I used a long level & marked the mounting holes BUT when I moved on the the 2nd shelf I discovered they where not the same distance. So what ever you use to determine the distance of your mounting holes, just remember you’ll need to do it for EACH self. ... show more

I'm going to preface this with saying that these do look nice, and I am a mechanical engineer so I get really annoyed with some stuff... That being said...installing these was a pain. The three shelves all measured 50 cm long and the mounting pins were all around around 7/8" from pin to center of slot. But all the shelves had different dimensions for center to center of the pin holes. There was a range of 14-3/4 to 15-3/16...the slots in the mounting pins would not allow for this adjustment so I had to mark out each one separately based on edge to center and center to center dietance. I'm sure someone who is used to Home Depot shelves could have just measured one and assumed they were all the same, and would have had some holes in their walls that they had to deal with. The hardware (anchors and screws) these came with are garbage. I use E-Z Anchor 50 pound anchors that we're much smaller in diameter, leave a smaller hole in the wall and are easier to install...they don't even require a drill. So I suggest you get these, it will be worth the money. The long drywall screws are also a horrible idea as they don't allow any veritcal level adjustment since they are flatheads. These shelves also have no way of positive retention on the wall. I had to buy and install some Tee Nuts and use screws to clamp them down to make sure they didn't come off the wall accidentally. They are nice shelves, so if you're handy or have someone handy who can put them up...go for it...otherwise stick with something a little more standard. ... show more
