I love this computer. For an off brand computer it works like a name brand. The color is beautiful and like the light up keyboard. They also provide a keyboard liner, there are kickstand on the back, battery time is good. Buy it you won't be sorry

Yes, the Versatile 16" Laptop is only dialogically. In fact, I missed read it and thought the laptop was 16" in sizes. In fact, the battery life could have been better but is still a great Laptop. It is very light weight, great value for the money, great display, great sound, with Windows 11, Office 19, with a mouse pad and wireless mouse. However, it doesn't have a fingerprint reader. Most, importantly be very careful with the screen because it does leave scratches. ... show more

I love the speed and fast setup. Purchase included MS Office, a mouse pad, and wireless mouse which is very nice. However, the audio is very poor. With both the system audio and media player audio turned all the way up to 100%, the audio is very very low. External bluetooth speaker or earbuds needed, which is fine for the price. Update: After only a few days, the computer crashed with the blue sad face screen, restarted and is now stuck on startup screen. Won't boot. Ugh. Hate to return with all my personal details on it. I needed a laptop for basics. I did not want to spend a huge amount. This laptop fits the bill and the budget. Awesome laptop. Super easy to set up. Talked to my friend who works in IT and he said this was a great computer for the price. I would definitely recommend for an every day use laptop

    • The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Before I review this computer, let me discuss why I bought it. I was running automotive diagnostic software on an old 2-in-1 laptop/tablet. By today's standards it had very little RAM and storage SSD. This made running my programs awfully slow and after putting on a little data I ran out of storage space. Thus I needed a new computer. In the meantime my 17 inch touchscreen laptop broke down and I needed something to temporarily replace it while it was being repaired. So on with the review. THE GOOD Despite this computer being no speed demon and nothing to call home about, it was able to run my automotive diagnostic software extremely well. In addition to the Microsoft Windows 11, it also comes with Microsoft Windows 2019, a rather old edition, but still very useful program suite for most people. The computer ran Word, Excel and PowerPoint without problems. I did not try any of the other Office Programs yet. With this older version of Office one does not have to pay the yearly subscription fee. This computer runs Microsoft Edge and Firefox with no problems. The computer took about 3 days to do a HWTest on a 2TB SATA M.2 SSD drive. The computer was able to accept the 2TB SATA M.2 SSD Drive which went into the one SATA M.2 SSD slot on the motherboard. The SATA M.2 SSD Slot was easy to get to. The battery lasts a reasonably long time. The fact that this is a 2-in-1 setup where you can use the computer as either a tablet or a laptop, may be very convenient. With me, using the computer as a tablet when working on my cars where the keyboard gets in the way and as a laptop when typing a document is very convenient. The build of the computer case is rather robust so the computer should be able to take a licking and keep on ticking. The backlit keyboard is a plus. THE BAD As stated earlier, this computer is no speed demon. If you intend to do CPU intensive gaming, video editing, or molecular modeling, you may consider getting a much more powerful computer. The touchpad is placed where one may touch it with their palms during typing which may move the cursor to a unintended place in the document. The license for the Windows 11 software is a volume license rather than the OEM or Retail license. This brings into question the legality of the Windows 11 software. I could not find the license type for the Office 2019 software but I tend to believe the same is true as with the Windows 11 software. You may as well get a retail key so you can get customer support from Microsoft. The computer comes with no documentation. It also has no Windows/Office reinstall disk. So buy a disk cloning software package and a 1TB drive to clone a backup drive before you do anything else. THE UGLY The keyboard has no lights to tell you whether you have either the Cap Lock or Num Lock on. Though the computer seems to be built strong it is quite weighty for a 14 inch laptop. The SSD runs off a SATA slot which is quite unusual in these times. I do not know why the manufacturer chose to use SATA SSD over PCIe SSD. SATA SSD cards are getting harder to find than the PCIe cards and are a lot slower. Upgradablity may become a problem in time. The casual user may not notice a difference, but the power user will. Forget about the cameras, they are awful. The microphone is nonexistent. Because of the hefty weight of the tablet, in laptop mode it tends to flop over Another problem with this computer is that some USB A devices do not fit in the USB A ports. The ports are just a tad bid too narrow. An example of this is the Hiren's Boot PE x64 bit USB Card Software Repair Tools Suite 2024 latest version 16.3 Best PC Windows Computer Recovery Disks PC Compatible Live Phone Tech Support. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BXTWF9LH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) sold here on Amazon. A few other USB A drives also gave this problem. CONCLUSION Though this is one of the best 2-in-1 computers I have seen, it is meant for the casual user who does some word processing and spread sheets or browses the Web not the power user. If you use power intensive applications such as some games and video editing, you may want to get a more powerful laptop or a desktop computer. ... show more
