This is the best umbrella I have ever used. A year and a half ago I bought three- one for my mother, one for my beloved wife, and one for my precious daughter. All three were beautiful (Pink, purple, and green). They work fantastically! Easy to open (the way they POP open and ZIP to full-canopy under spring-load is just plain FUN to do!) And they are so durable that I really believe they would withstand any wind that does not knock me down. And yet, tough as they are, they are so elegant in their design and functionality that they are a credit to the profession of engineering. I suggest that if the reader is looking for a gift, especially for a woman or girl, but doesn't know what to give, this is an excellent choice. What a classy product! Now my daughter has lost hers at school (I'm not surprised that such an elegant item grew legs and walked away). I try not to spoil her by replacing everything that she loses (she had to wait six months for Santa Clause to replace her Nintendo, 'cause Dad woudn't do it), but her birthday is coming up and I am pleased to buy another one of these. I am writing this review just because I was so favorably impressed with the quality of this product after so many experiences of buying cheap umbrellas and getting only a few uses out of them until they broke and had to be discarded. Had quite a number of umbrellas over the years, and long story short, none of them survived to today, had this one in the cart for a long time, and finally got around to purchasing it several months back, and its fantastic. The shoulder strap it has is super handy for times you can't hold it with your hands, the selection of colors are eye popping, and I can easily see this umbrella surviving for a very long time. ... show more

I love the color and the size so much! Sadly, my umbrella is broken. Today was the first rainy day since I bought it and I was so excited to use it. However, it doesn’t stay open.
