This works on my Intek above ground pool. Salt water no problem. 12 v is safe! Running solar direct. I recommend tightening the screws holding it together a quarter turn before installing just to make sure all the seals are nice and tight to prevent water from ingressing.

This pump works great for using it to water plants. Even with pumping through 20ft of hose and a nozzle, it will still pump about a gallon in 3 seconds.

Pump is making a horrible high pitched whine. Although they say my return window ended 6 days ago. I received it only a month ago. Also only pumping 825 gallons per hour. advertised at 3800.
