I bought this clock to replace my old one. It set up easily. But when I tried to use it night one, I had to turn it upside down as it was like a floodlight. Even on the lowest setting. And if you use batteries instead of plugging it in, it goes off in about a minute. To see the time you have to touch it. That’s not good if it’s across the room. The display is so bright it could be used at the top of a lighthouse to guide boats. I fixed it by taking a sheet of plastic and used colored markers on the plastic. The other thing is display will not stay on for more than a few moments if just using batteries. It must be plugged in to remain on. This is a great, inexpensive clock! The numbers are large and easy to read, and the night mode dimming is a nice feature as well. The PM light is a bit small in the top left corner, but serves its purpose well enough. I found the blinking time separator : a bit distracting, and covered it with black electrical tape as there is no option to turn it off. Pros: Plugged in with USB, BRIGHT DISPLAY. CONSTANTLY ON Better Plugged in with USB. Cons; BATTERY POWERED the display is dim. Battery powered, the display turns off every 16 seconds. Battery powered, the "voice activation" feature does not turn the display on. Battery Powered, the "voice activation " feature is more of a tap the clock physically to turn the display on. Basically this clock is not that great as a Battery Powered option. But is really Great as being plugged in with the USB. ... show more

easy to use, looks nice during the day, but even the dimmest setting is way too bright at night for me personally and made it hard to sleep. if you're used to sleeping in very dark darkness, it will probably be too bright for you. i just covered it with paper at night and it's perfect now

The instructions are printed with wording so small we have to use a magnifying glass to read it. Maybe you can pass this along to the manufacturer. This is a cheap item and you should have someone on your management team set the clock up.
