I bought this just to help my elderly dog have more traction - it worked mostly because it's so soft he just sleeps on the rug instead of walking to his bed lol. I'm not sure if the instructions say spot wash only (I'm not super concerned) but after putting it in the washer it seems to have messed up the padding inside the rug. It isn't the end of the world for me but it does have weird waves now that I can't flatten. My dog doesn't care, but someone else might. ... show more

I am so pleased with this rug. Fits perfect in front of my dressing closet. (Comfy on bare feet) Rubber backing keeps it from shifting. And stays in place when vacuuming. So, I bought these soft rugs for my daycare. Now, I love them; don't get me wrong. But they are the wrong choice if you have small children. Getting ANYTHING out of them is a nightmare. Even dust settled into them. If a child happens to spill something on it or get food on it trying to pick that out is a no go. I have tried vacuuming and it gets sucked up by the vacuum. If you don't have kids I'd say it's a great rug! I am attempting to clean the ones I bought for other areas of my home that the kids don't play in then replace with play mats that are easier to clean. It's my own fault, don't let me discourage you but I'm just saying, if you have small children or if you yourself drop food in it... good luck. ... show more

This rug quality is good for the price BUT it arrived in a small, folded square size about 12"x12" and VACUUM SEALED. This means that even after over a month of having it out on my floor, it STILL has yet to relax and relieve itself of all of the severe fold lines which makes the rug not lay down flat on the floor. I've tried everything to get it to relax and not still "act"as of its still folded into a1 foot square- hand stretching it, washing it by hand and drying with weights on top of it, even medium heat ironing with a protective top fabric to keep it from melting. Nothing will stop it from having deep creases and sitting unevenly on my floor! ... show more
