10/10!!!! Almost bought this rug a million times from rugs USA, but could not justify the $600+ price tag for a 9x12. Stumbled across the exact same one for less than $300 here on Amazon and I took a chance on it, despite some negative reviews and it is absolute PERFECTION. No harsh chemical smells most rugs come with, THICK, quality made, and so, so beautiful!! It’s not rough, but not the coziest carpet either, but my children and I have had no issues sitting or playing on it. There is a scant amount of shed, but nothing too noticeable or awful yet. I love it so much. Love how the color complements my space. I know it’s wool so I expect it to shed and not be a super soft pile. I read a lot of reviews on the shedding so I knew a wool rig like this would be best in an area that doesn’t get foot traffic constantly for that wool to stick to or move around more. Rug looks really nice but this thing really sheds. I did expect the shedding since it is a wool rug but I didn’t expect it to continue after almost 3 weeks of having it. I have filled two vacuum bags and it is still shedding. I have bought wool rugs before and usually the shedding would have decreased by now! I vacuum 2-3 times a day. I’m not sure what else to do besides return it! ... show more

The carpet arrived in just plastic wrap, did have holes and exposed carpet, the carpet itself was not damaged however! Some reviews have stated that the carpet is somewhat uncomfortable on bare feet, that is not my experience at all, very comfortable with or without socks, thick carpet no rug mat/pad needed, overall very happy with this purchase! Why did you pick this product vs others?: Gorgeous rug & great price for wool. I wanted gray and picked “melrose gray” as it looked to the warm gray and not blue gray. This is a brown tan & not gray at all. Maybe I’ll try another one of the shades.

Rug was good quality but was too small for my room and I needed a bigger size. Buyer beware that if you have to ship it back Rugs, USA charges a pricey return fee.
