If it wouldn't be weird, I would put this rug in every room in my house. It is so gorgeous in real life. The pattern is clear, bold, and vibrant. The fabric feels very high-quality and soft. It seems like it will hold up well. The velcro system keeps it in place very well, though vacuuming can sometimes make wrinkles that need to be smoothed out. My pets love to lay on it, and they do not scratch at it like other rugs. They clean up really well with a steamer. Even though I was a bit skeptical of the Ruggable price point at first, I ended up buying a runner in another Wm. Morris pattern and an Iris Apfel large rug for our bedroom once they were on sale. I'm not a very big fan.

Absolutely gorgeous! Love the pattern and the colors are vibrant. Easy to clean, I have 2 bulldogs that slobber a lot and this rug can handle it great. It is not super thick but I prefer that.

The rug is pretty. It seems so far to be durable. It was easy to lay down. We put a mat underneath for a little extra comfort. The edges lay flat. So, here is the reason for only 4 stars. It is really rough. More suited for out door use, in my opinion. I have many washable area rugs and they are soft. So, the fact that it’s washable has nothing to do with it. I’m dissatisfied with this as walking on it causes a rug burn sensation on my feet. I wouldn’t want a baby to crawl on this rug. That, said if you enjoy William Morris art you will like this rug, if nothing else just enjoy looking at it.

After reading soooo many reviews I finally broke down and bought a small size Ruggable. I was so excited when it arrived, I was sure I would love it and would be purchasing several large ones for my home. I am very disappointed! Don't let all the reviews fool you. The rug is horrible. Not even close to feeling soft. Colors were very muted and "muddy" looking. I purchased the standard pad which is quite thick. However, it took multiple attempts to get a 2x3 size rug attached to the pad. I never could get the corners in due to the velcro. They won't slide in and get stuck. The rug looks like it's hovering on the floor like Aladdin's magic carpet. The pad doesn't make it any softer. It is stiff and hard. It feel like your walking on a concrete floor. I've been eyeing the William Morris patterns but I guess I'll be passing on them. Maybe they should have chose a better company to partner with.

I absolutely love the colors and design of this area rug! Really don’t understand why this brand is so expensive though. I consider any rug washable if you hang it on the fence and hose it off. Hoping it settles in to the pad quickly. Walking on it immediately I can hear the crunch of the bristles where it sticks to the rug.
