I purchased my rug quite a few months ago and didn’t write a review until now because I wanted to wait until after I had seen how well it held up with the wear and tear of two dogs, a heavy traffic area and dirty shoes, and until it truly needed washing. I spot cleaned the rug several times when one of my dogs threw up on it, and I was Pleasantly surprised at how easily it cleaned up With just a little Dawn dish soap and a microfiber towel. But after numerous insults, I finally broke down and decided it was time to give it a wash. If I had known how easy it would be, I would’ve washed it long before I finally did. When you disassemble the top layer from the rubber pad, it is very lightweight and not that bulky. It washed easily in my front load washer, and dried beautifully in the dryer with no Special requirements at all. My first Ruggable. I’m not sure why I waited so long! After staying in an Air BnB with these rugs, I fell in love and pulled the trigger. The pattern, the quality, the design, the ability to wash it and ease of shipping/installment. It’s a no-brainer! Totally worth the price. We purchased 2-2.5 x 7 runners and 1- 2x 3 rug , standard pad (our mistake) $450.00 for the three. very difficult to put backing on rug, two person job.
