I applied these as instructed and it looked great at first. The side that sticks to the floor stays in place very well, but the side that sticks to the rug detaches easily when walked on or a door opened over it. I wish these worked better.

This double face tape works fairly well at keeping rugs in place on the floor. If it is a really high traffic area or where I used it for the rug under my office chair, it can still cause some movement and shifting of the tape. If it is an average traffic or low traffic area, you will have no problems at all.
