The compact size of this chair can get through the narrowest of doors in our home...26". It's sturdy, light weight and really moves. I take my brother to many dr. Appointments and I can easily fold this chair up and put it in the backseat of his 4 door Ford car. All the Dr's.and nurses have commented on it, one therapist even requested I send her info. For it because she was so impressed. Only issue we have had is the seat belt buckle has broken and I've not heard back from the company about a replacement yet. The seat is a bit small and not too well padded but we have placed a thicker cushion on It and I used a peice of rubber rug mat to keep it from sliding. The backup beep is Loud and annoying, it cannot be disconnected, yes my husband took the whole controller apart and tried, it's hard wired to the computer chip. So we stuck a think felt furniture pad on the speaker which has reduced it somewhat. They really need to lessen the volume, nothing like the sound of a dump truck backing up to awaken the whole house at 3am if my brother has to get up in the middle of the night which happens often. ... show more

If you are looking for a light compact chair to replace the pain in the ass push style wheel chair. You are in luck. Rubicon is a good choice. It folds up fast and easy. It is light enough to easily lift into the back of the Prius. Note: this chair is not designed to sit in all the time. It is for when you cant transport your comfortable every day scooter or heavy powered wheel chair. It is good for the quick trips to the doctors office or the quick getaway to the grocery store or shopping trip. I have not used it in an airport yet but I imagine it will be perfect for transporting with luggage on an airline. Some of the downsides of this chair are as follows 1. Lacks comfort 2. Manual brakes are hard to reach. 3. Sketchy on uneven surfaces 4. Leg and foot supports are not ergonomically designed for comfort. 5. Will roll away uncontrolled on an incline if not paying attention. Some of the upsides 1. Easily transportable 2. No Assembly required day to day 3. Plenty of power 4. Adequate range 5. Trate de contactar al vendedor y me pidió video y explicación de lo que pasaba el ID de compra y la prueba de que estaba bajo garantía, y todo fue para decirme que la reparación es más cara que comprar otra.     • It’s not lightweight
The power and range are very good once you can get into it. However, during the nearly eight months I’ve had mine, I cannot load and unload it into my vehicle independently. My husband struggles with it, too. We both are well under the recommended 220 pounds and both have mobility problems which are aggravated after struggling with it. It has been great for a few excursions with others handling it, but I can’t use it as I’d like for quick shopping trips, church, etc. ... show more

I read all the reviews and was somewhat dubious when I ordered it. But the order was out of necessity for my disabled son. This chair has a small turn radius that allows him to go around tight corners. He has no problem using it on carpet. The joystick was simple to move to the left side. We haven’t tried it outside so I can’t speak to that. Overall, we are happy with it so far! Edited: the backup tone is obnoxiously loud. We put a screw in the small speaker hole and now it’s very faint - so much better. We are still happy with it! ... show more

    • Good for the price
I own 2 electric power chairs and one scooter. I walk, but not very far. I bought this one mostly for the price and overall size. I live in tight quarters. I only gave it 3 stars because of the 3 I have, it is the least powerful, but also was the least expensive. I use it primarily in the house; I don't think it has enough power to be used much outside. We own 2 homes - one has carpet and one does not. I will most likely switch this one to the home with the hard floors as it's slow on carpet. It is a little slow to turn in a circle, but will work. I think with any inexpensive power chair you just have to get used to the touch of the joystick. You get what you pay for. It's a good chair for $1,000. They could make the back wheels a little bigger and with more tread. I think that would help. Also, I'm not too strong and could lift this one if I had to. ... show more

    • Very light weight!
This wheelchair allows me to move freely around my home. But the best part is how easily it collapses and fits into our vehicle. They shipping was awesome! Delivered sooner than promised which is appreciated!
