Yes, the zip tie broke on the old one I had, it lasted 10 years before breaking. Yes, I could've just replaced the zip tie, but decided to buy another. I also purchased more mop heads for the old handle, will use those in garage and for messier jobs. I like that it doesn't have a bucket with it. I fill and use it in the kitchen sink, as I like to replace use really clean water when I'm mopping. This mop is like the professional ones, but you can keep it a lot cleaner. You will like this mop if you think that washing the floor by hand with a cotton rag cloth is the best way to actually clean a floor, but don't actually want to do it that way. You will not like this mop if you like microfiber. You will not like this mop if you've ever believed a commercial for a magical cleaning solution. You will not like this mop if you have arthritis or something else that hinders ratcheting the mop so as to wring the water out fully. You will not like this mop if you've ever used the O-Cedar Microfiber Twist mop or the Libman Wonder mop and liked it. The Libman Wonder mop is the WORST mop I've ever used - hands Down! This mop is not suited for hardwood floors, or floors that are really super flat and shiny. I love this mop! I have been using this mop for many years. It works very well. I like the twist to ring out the water. Depending on your hand strength, I can wring out a lot of the water & HANDS STAY DRY. I usually go through a mop head about every year. I tend to use the scratcher part pretty often and it wears out fast. I usually buy two mop heads at a time, so I can have a clean one on while the other is in the wash. I can no longer find replacement heads and have to order a whole new mop, which is pretty expensive. It is my favorite mop so I will have to do what I have to do. I sure wish they would make replacement heads.

Great mop. It wrings very well. However, I don’t understand why they put that plastic latch on it to release the mop after it’s wrung out. I expect it to break at some point. It’s marketed as a commercial mop but that flaw makes it not as heavy duty as I’d like. That’s definitely a design flaw.

This is a high-quality twist mop! It easily locks the twisted mop in place when wringing it out, or storing it. There is a small scrub pad on the very bottom to help remove dried-on debris. The great thing about this mop is its compact size which allows you to rinse the mop in a kitchen sink without splashing all over the place. You can wring it "dry" and use it to damp mop the floor, or you can pull the mop out all wet and drench the floor! The mop fibers are very absorbent, and can be pushed into cracks and crevices with ease. You do have to get used to handling the mop so that the strings 'fall' into place before attempting to wring out the mop. Otherwise, the strings can get out of alignment, and make wringing the mop difficult. Minor thing to learn.

Had this exact mop about 8 yrs ago and was extremely pleased but went it broke, I went with the popular microfiber spin mops and was never as satisfied as with my old good ol' heavy cotton Rubbermaid mop. At $35 tho, I was hesitant until I recently broke down and ordered this AND I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! not only is the mophead itself a lesser quality, the clip that snaps to keep the head in the upright position and not fall down doesn't work from day one or is broken/too weak to support the head when damp therefore the strings fall in a wet heap. I'm just sick about this because for $35 I could have bought 2 if not 3 other brand name twist mops

This mop is wrung out by twisting the pole it's attached to. It seems strange but once you get the hang of it it works very well. Sometimes a sponge mop won't get into corners and under crevices like you want so this rag mop is essential for doing a good job in those areas. I pushed too hard when releasing it from the wringer stage back into a normal mop head and the entire head came off. I was able to fix it with a heavy duty zip tie so that now it's sturdier than when it was new. A mop shouldn't be delicate. They need to take rough handling. This one does now with the better tie. It won't come off again. I didn't deduct any stars because perhaps others can use it without the problem I had and I really like the design.

It's much smaller and more pathetic than expected. It cleans my floor for now. I've only used it three times and the scrub part in center has fallen off. Wretched economy, inflation and overpriced junk. This mop will break soon without doubt. I'm so gd tired of global greed! Amazon and Google tell you what to buy and think, umbrella companies absorbed everything during fake covid bs. Wake up people!

I had originally purchased a microfiber fancy mop and spent more than I care to admit to. My floors are over 80 years old so of course there are tiny splinters that microfiber grabs onto, whether you rip parts of your mop off and it sticks to the floor or you rip parts of the floor off microfiber just wasnt for this floor. The Rubbermaid mop with yarn was exactly perfect! It didn't snag on the tiny splinters and it wrang out perfectly. It was easy to rinse and twist. If the plastic piece fails I know I can use a heavy duty zip tie to make it work just as well. I will never buy any other type or brand. Although it didn't come with the extra head that the advertisement said it did. If you have hardwood floors get this one.
