These are not cheap but will outlast the plastic containers by 100 years. Buy rubber, not plastic. The plastic ones will eventually yellow, crack and the handles will break.

Size: Under the Bed Wheeled - 2 Pack
So much I liked about this sturdy storage container. The wheels provide make cleaning under the beds easier as the bottom of the container doesn’t drag any dirt and dust with it. The dual top makes it easy to find what you need and the lid secures the contents from anything getting into the container. There are other less expensive containers, but if this is a long term storage solution, this will hold up longer. My bed frame clearance is just a little over 7 1/2” and it slides easily under the frame with little room to spare. Good option when storage space is limited. ... show more

I like these storage boxes but about 1 in 5 has something wrong with it, typically a cosmetic crack that is too small for me to want to do anything about returning the set. Quality control is not as good as it could be, but please know that something similar is true if you go buy them at a big box store. Look at each item closely. For me, it costs less to take that small damage than to take the time, effort, and gas to drive to the big box store that sells them at pretty much the same price. ... show more

The bins,while they could be a bit larger, when filled are more difficult for me to handle, move and get down my steps. These are perfect in every way. A great brand and very sturdy. I intend to fill them with various things. May order more.

    • Versatile, stackable storage

I got these to act as a spice rack, holding bunches of little spice jars so they can be corraled together and easily seen. They’re working nearly perfectly for this purpose…which admittedly is probably not a common one. That said, it should also be noted that the lid locking mechanisms are pretty flimsy, and there’s no seal to the lids — the lid just fits over the main container compartment and is held in place by the handle locks on each side. There’s nothing inherently bad about this, but be aware that if you need containers with lids that seal tightly, these won’t be the best choice. (Rubbermaid has bunches of other models of kitchen containers with tight lid seals, though.) Also the plastic is relatively thin — these containers are not going to support a lot of weight, and I imagine would probably crack or shatter if dropped from countertop height or higher (although I don’t intend to test this!) ... show more

    • Break quickly - very brittle - too brittle - extremely fragile buyer beware

Buyer beware. Don't buy these they are too brittle, will break quickly and will need to be replaced. These were sold as tough and I bought them because they are Rubbermaid and they are clear plastic, but they perform just like the cheap stuff. Extremely fragile, slight impacts completely shatter them. Drop them only four to six inches with anything in them and they crack straight through the bottom. Stacking them and sliding them on top so that the back side drops a few inches and they crack and shatter. They perform like thin glass and that is saying something. They are unacceptable for a storage container this size. Other Rubbermaid products that I have purchased are tough and durable but they are opaque. When I found these, that they were clear plastic and made by Rubbermaid I had confidence they were as advertised. Very disappointed and at this price point they are incredibly expensive and not worth even buying them at 5 cents on the dollar because they just won't last. Unusable for storage other than soft goods (blankets, linens, plush toys) sitting on soft carpet. Even then if they are pushed against something solid or hard under the bed, they will crack. Also after using them past the return date which is not long, which I did, they fail quickly and are non returnable. ... show more

    • MId Range Storage Solution - with Very Weak Handles Unfortunately
Size: 30 Qt - 6 Pack
These are very large and fairly sturdy, deep and high plastic boxes to stores extra shirts, sweaters, socks, towels, what have you with matching plastic lids - and here's the issue - pretty cheap blue plastic latches on both end which flip over once the lid is on to 'click' the lid shut. The box plastic is mid range which means it is fairly sturdy but it is not strong : but for the purpose it is fine. If you put a lot of heavy things in and stacked them that might be a problem for more than two or three I would wager but they go fine if you have high deep shelves (take measurements) and put them next to each other on storage shelves. The plastic latches are the issue : they are made of very thin plastic and do not totally snap the lid shut - they just close it tighter but not totally tight or clicked shut because they are weaker than the plastic lids. One box of six received had one latch broken on arrival. Amazon was nice enough to refund the price of one box affected - but they should have a deal with Rubbermaid to ship a set (6) of replaceable latches as over time there is a high risk of breakage of these latches, not the plastics boxes themselves which are otherwise seemingly fit for purpose. Rubbermaid can also make sturdier closing latches as well for the next generation of these things. Overall the size and volume of the containers worked for my purpose but I would have preferred a better quality of hinge/ closing latch as these are minimalist. ... show more
