I already own this same style of Rubbermaid food storage (but smaller) for years now, and it is my go to for any kind of food storage. It's very easy to see the food stored inside it; air tight, so you don't have to worry about spillage or food contamination; very easy to clean even if there is grease or tomato sauce/no scrubbing required; These containers will last for years. It's a well constructed container but what a size! Everything I buy from Amazon is either enormous or minute! This is the size of a small appliance. I'm going to need a larger kitchen at this rate. I wish the size had been listed in inches rather than cups. 18 cups didn't mean a great deal to me. But who would want a cereal container as large as this? This is far too big!
